Guys like Forrest Griffin and Dan Henderson are just beloved by everybody. Guys like Josh Koscheck and Rashad Evans are hated by everybody. Here are a few fighters who fans either love or hate... and which one best fits this category.

1.) Nick Diaz
It's easy why fans like Diaz. You can't help but love his fighting style. He's very talented and beats the best guys. But he doesnt do it how most fighters do. He doesnt nit and pick and try to get a decision, he just comes right at fighters and looks for a knockout or submission. He has one of the most aggressive styles in the UFC which is why I have alot of respect for Nick as a fighter. He's also one of the realest guys out there and isnt afraid to be straight up with anybody. It is however, easy to dislike Diaz as a person. What we see out of him is a talented fighter, but a mentally unstable person. He takes trash talking to a whole new level, instigates unecessary fights with other fighters and doesn't seem to take a whole lot seriously. I mean how many drug tests is this kid gonna fail? I lost alot of respect from Diaz after he decided to retire from the sport simply because he was bitter about a decision ruling.

2.) Jason "Mayhem" Miller
How can you not love Mayhem's personality and fighting style? Alot like Diaz, Mayhem's aggressive and doesn't pick at people, and he's great on the ground. He's fan friendly, and is extremly likable with media and other fighters. He's also hilarious and you can't help but get a chuckle out of what he says sometimes to the media. The thing that's frustrating about Mayhem though is that he never really lived up to his talent. He's made a living dominating nobodies but has struggled against top competition. Hell he looked god awful against Michael Bisping in The Ultimate Fighter Finale. Now we all know he's a much better fighter than the one we saw that night, but the thing that's frustrating is that Miller worries more about marketing himself than actually fighting. Instead of hosting "Bully Beatdown" and other TV shows to gain popularity, he should now focus on fighting since he's in the UFC. I do believe he can make it to the top 10 in middleweights since the division is so lacking, but Miller's gotta get his head up out of his ass if he wants that to happen.

3.) Chael Sonnen
Pretty much when somebody challenges Anderson Silva, they don't make it out of the first round. Even the best middleweights struggled against Silva. Everyone except Chael Sonnen. Sonnen has given Silva the biggest headache out of any opponent by far. Chael actually came pretty close to defeating him. This fight alone gave Chael alot of love from UFC fans, hoping to see this fight again. Also the things that Sonnen says to the media are entertaining to say the least. Then again it's easy why people don't like Sonnen either. It's one thing to trash talk to hype a fight, but talking about somebody's family and disrespecting their home country is taking things to a whole other level. Sonnen and Silva's rematch this year is supposed to take place in Brazil... the UFC is actually reconsidering that because their worried about Sonnen's safety there out of all the comments he made about it. And rightfully so. Some of the things Sonnen says can be funny, but other times it's just racist and hurtful. Deep down I think Chael's a good guy who really does respect Silva, but he took things too far just to cause spark. And another thing Chael, I wish you were just as entertaining with your fighting as you are with your talking. Just saying.

4.) Wanderlei Silva
Wanderlei is a huge fan favorite in the UFC. He's not by all means a boring fighter and he's one of the nicest guys outside the ring. He gave people free MMA lessons and will never hesitate for an autograph or picture for fans. Even though Wanderlei is a nice guy outside of the ring, he's an entirely different person inside the ring. I gotta say Wanderlei's staredowns are even more entertaining than Nick Diaz's. He trashed talked Michael Bisping right away just because he heard that other people don't like him. He tried to intimidate Chuck Liddell during a weigh in and almost attacked him when Liddell flipped him off in response. And yes Wanderlei, we know you and Rampage don't like each other. Was pushing him necessary? Wanderlei, you're a nice guy. Why don't you have the same respect for your opponents as you do for the fans and media?

5.) Michael Bisping
Michael Bisping alone has made Mixed Martial Arts big in Britian. Dan Hardy has failed his expectations in the UFC, and Paul Daley was kicked out due to attitude issues. So Michael Bisping has become the lone British star. And next to Sonnen, Bisping is arguably the second most deserving of a shot at Anderson Silva. I think even though he lost to Chael Sonnen, he silenced his critics on his inability to beat top competition. Many felt he got robbed of that fight. Even though Bisping is a talented fighter, he does come off as unlikable. You see a guy who has an extremely high opinion of himself and somebody who is impossible to get along with. Dan Henderson and Mayhem Miller couldn't stand coaching alongside of him on The Ultimate Fighter. Opposing TUF fighters never really liked him either. He never really was a good guy to Mayhem's or Henderson's fighters and even mocked them on occasion. Mayhem suggested once that maybe he's such an asshole because he has a small penis. Whatever the case may be... Bisping is kind of a douchebag.

6.) George St. Pierre
"GSP" or "Rush" as they call him is arguably the poster boy of the UFC. He's been the Welterweight champ for over six years now and is a true definition of pound for pound. He's also one of the nicest guys in the sport. He doesn't get sucked into trash talking and respects his opponents and wishes them luck. He wins and he's always in the news. The way he wins though is what MMA fans don't like though. GSP is a winner, but he wins in boring fashion. Most of his wins seem to be via decision and he seems like he is afraid of injury. Nothing against Rush, he's a great guy and a winner. But if he wants to win other fans over he has to a little more excitable.

7.) Jon Jones

In the midst of defeating three former world champions, it seems Jon Jones has added another feat to his impressive resume.

He's gone from fan favorite to one of the most hated men in MMA in a little under a year.

Like Georges St-Pierre and Anderson Silva, he makes winning look easy. It's part of the reason fans love Jones, but the fact he's done it against three fan favorites also hasn't done him any favors.

Besides rising to stardom in such a small time frame, what fans love to hate on Jones the most is his attitude. Whether you classify him as fake, cocky or confident, it's clear that fans are more focused on Jon Jones the person instead of Jon Jones the fighter.

8.) Anderson Silva

Nobody can deny that Anderson Silva will go down as one of the top five best fighters of all time. What some people will dispute is how he's achieved some success in the UFC.

While his most recent fights have been a display of what makes him so great, there have been a few cases of Silva playing games with his opponents. Some fans refuse to let go of the Thales Leites and Demian Maia bouts.

Then there's the case of Silva "ducking" fighters like Dan Henderson and Chael Sonnen. It would've been interesting to see if Silva would've healed any faster had Michael Bisping defeated Sonnen.

Although it's most likely just verbal jabs from Sonnen and Henderson, it does make you wonder sometimes if Silva does get a little choosy with his next fight.

9.) Alistair Overeem

Alistair Overeem has made a career off knocking out or tapping out much of his opposition. He's an imposing figure with an even more imposing MMA game.

However, as good as Overeem has looked, much of it came against lesser competition. He won the Strikeforce title in 2007 and would not defend it for nearly three years. In that time, he fought a number of guys who didn't even belong in the same locker room as him.

Overeem will finally have a chance to put to rest the talk of him not fighting the best of the best as he challenges Junior dos Santos for the UFC Heavyweight title. Dana White, like many fans, has been quick to criticize Overeem's record, but now, he gets a chance to prove all the doubters wrong.

10.) Quinton "Rampage" Jackson
How can you not like Rampage either? A former champ with a exciting style. He packs some poweful punches and made a name for himself by knocking people out. He too, like Miller and Sonnen, can get a chuckle out of fans with the comments he makes to the media. I used to be a huge fan of Rampage, but I lost alot of respect for him after he coached TUF: Heavyweights. He didn't seem to know what he was talking about and he came off as an arrogant bully on the show. Always calling one of Rashad Evan's fighters "Titties" constantly just because he knew it bothered him. Another thing about Rampage is that he seems lazy. He puts on about 30 pounds when he's not fighting and gets really sloppy and has failed to make weight on more than one occasion. Rampage, why don't you lay off the pizza and burgers and try to maintain your weight? It shows fans you don't take things seriously. Also, for the love of god... stop howling when you make weight. Last I checked youre not a damn dog.

Those are the fighters who fans either love or hate. Which one best fits that or did I miss anyone?
