"Modern Family" actress Sofia Vergara hasn't always been this comfortable with her buxom figure. When she was 13 years old, she found her 34 DD breasts anything but desirable.
Vergara told Self magazine that she would beg her mom to "please take these boobs away" when she was younger. "Why would I want these huge tits? I'm a 34 DD. It's hard to dress. No matter what I wear, I look like a stripper."
Of course, she's changed her mind a bit since then.
Although her recent Emmy nomination for her performance as Gloria on "Modern Family" is evidence that she's much more than just eye candy, Vergara does admit that her boobs have come in handy as an actress.
"I’m grateful I have them," she told Self, "and honestly, they’ve helped me a lot in my career ... For every 100 roles that come out for another actress, there are two that fit somebody like me."
In fact, "Modern Family" put out an ad in Variety that claimed Vergara would run naked down Sunset Blvd. if they won Best Comedy at the Emmys.
But the "stripper look" still haunts her. "I mean, I cannot play a scientist," she continued. "I know who I am. I know how I look. I know how I sound. I’m not going to tell my agent, 'Book me for Schindler’s List 2.'"
And in case you're wondering, yes, "Modern Family" did win Best Comedy, but Vergara claims to have found a remote part of Sunset to fulfill the agreement.
