'Modern Family' Lawsuit: Good for Them or Just Greedy?

You're wrong..."GREED is GREED" the public can get rid of their self-centered selves. The show "Ain't" that good and neither are the actors/actresses.

I have never watched so it doesn't matter to me either way but if your advertisers don't support it it and the station doesn't make money from it, it is off the air and noboby makes anything.

Ed O'Neill, Sarah Hyland and Ariel Winter deserve more.. The rest NO. Get rid of Sofia Vergara, she is vulgar and repulsive and pulls the whole program down with her phony overacting.

If they are limited in work,then they should be able to pursue those projects. As for more money per episode . They make enough. Make in up in the reruns.

A 'blazing hot ensemble cast?' Don't know any of em except sofia vergara and that's just cuz of the smurfs.

I am tried of liberal siding with the so called working person as in Actors and Actresses. Yes the studios make money off the ads sold during a show time frame. That is how the individual shows make money and continue season to season.

Understand that during the summer or none film months between season. The cast and crew continue to get paid. The studio is not making money yet they have to pay it out. I think the crew, the real hard worker should see a pay increase rather the cast. Think about, the crew take a lunch break vs the cast taking a lunch break. First not all the cast is not on set during the time of filming. So what are they doing, anything they damn well please. Now the crew, they are there during the entire time and even though the actors/actresses baby fits.

Modern Family is funny, but does not bring in the money like the Simpson.

Sofia Vergara is the richest person on TV, and she's seriously asking for more...

Would they have been willing to have Fox void their contracts and lower their salaries if the show wasn't making so much money? Of course not, they'd scream bloody murder.

She is repulsive with that awful mouth, all she has is big boobs, I do not find that attractive at all. She overacts terribly and ruins the show.

Being able to pursue other acting jobs is the only point on which I agree with them.

Clicked the wrong one. But by the looks of things all they want to the ability to work on other things as well as the show rather than just on Modern Family.... which I think is fair enough

Movie and television studios have a long history of not sharing money with the talent that makes the money for them.

The only part that I agree with is that they should be able to pursue other acting jobs. If that is prohibited in their contract it should be changed IMO. Otherwise....no I don't see the need to negotiate when they make that much per episode.

The "friends" and Charlie Sheen were making $1M an episode - the water will seek its own level

If the show gets cancelled over this, I'm going to be highly upset. :(
