Model quits Victoria’s Secret over Christian beliefs

Young beauty Kylie Bisutti is leaving Victoria’s Secret at
just 21 because modeling lingerie does not conform with her Christian
beliefs.

Bisutti won Victoria’s Secret Model Search in 2009 when she was 19, beating out 10,000 other hopefuls.

“Victoria’s Secret was my absolutely biggest goal in life, and it was
all I ever wanted career-wise,” she told FOX411′s Pop Tarts. “I
actually loved it while I was there, it was so much fun and I had a
blast. But the more I was modeling lingerie — and lingerie isn’t
clothing — I just started becoming more uncomfortable with it because of
my faith. I’m Christian, and reading the Bible more, I was becoming
more convicted about it.”

Bisutti, from Simi Valley, California, was married shortly before
getting her wings, and she said that was also a factor in her decision.

I'm sure the Taliban will agree with her. You have to be pretty stupid to not know that posing half-naked is a rather important part of getting a job as a Victoria's Secret model.

Crazy, and this is why ______.

    There's more to the story.

She moved to Montana where she planned on opening a Center for Kids That Can't Read Good. Unfortunately, the building wasn't big enough for the kids to get into. It was more like a center for ants. Estimates were that the building needed to be at least three times bigger.

    Well, she's a model, idiot.

I would say neither. I won't call her crazy, but I would not make the same decision. I don't consider lingerie modeling to be unreligious, and I wouldn't quit my job because my future husband didn't like it. But I respect her decision.

When I was younger, I was a swimsuit and lingerie model..................... Nothing like the stuff of today, but heck, worked out pretty good for me. Worked for a bank, as a manger, and modeled on the side. Made a lot of money, and wisely invested it. :+)

It would be interesting if they ever did a research news report on years later, what the models experience and thoughts on the life and how it affected them overall......

No, not just the money aspect. More like a life experience, was there parts that helped them... Meeting different people, travel opportunities. Were they able to use it to benefit others? Fund raising, support charities?

I worked with a group that raised money for Make a Wish Foundation.

I can't say it was either crazy or honorable. Just her choice in life. There are others who would love to take her place and wouldn't feel uncomfortable so let them model.

To me, some will see it as honorable, others as crazy....... Maybe it just has to do with where a person is in their life, and what is really important to them.........
