Miley Cyrus aka Hannah Montana recently posed for a Vanity Fair Magazine spread by the famous photographer Annie Leibovitz. Miley is barely covered by a sheet in some of the pictures and many are calling her them suggestive and in poor taste. Was Miley Cyrus being exploited? Who was exploiting her?

    The Leibovitz photos are nothing. What, all 15 year old girls don't have backs? She's totally covered...more than she would be at the swimming pool.

    Her own photos of herself are more revealing AND STILL they are the same photos that nearly every 15 year old takes of themselves.

    This whole thing is created by the media to sell FAKE NEWS. The girls should tell all the critics to take a flying leap.

    her parrents cause, she's only 16 & its not like her pareents couldnt say no dont do this they had to be at the photo shoot w/ her. so i blame them. sorrry. i love billie ray he's kinda cute to be his agge. but their faultt.

    Miley Cyrus is clearly being used by her record label and all the people she works with to sell this image of a, "Sex symbol pop star". Her parents are definitely at fault for driving her into the wrong people. Miley Cyrus is young and clearly naive. She does things that seem "normal" and "stylish", not thinking about her young fans. She needs to realize that she started off with Hannah Montana. A show aimed at a young audience. That audience has gained interest in her and will follow her. She is influencing little girls without even realizing it. But let's not blame this stupid girl. Let's blame the mass media and the people who are exploiting her. Wow... what is this world coming to.

    everyone exploited her. Her parents had control over their daughter. Annie made the decision to take the pics, and Vanity Fair made the choice to print the pics. So everyone had their part in the final decision. It is a lesson to be learned. She is a star, but she still is a child. Most of her decisions should be overviewed by an adult that cares about her. I just think maybe her dad slipped on this one.

    It was totally her fault. She knew what she was doing when she got into it. She did it willingly (come on, really? Annie Leibovitz forced her to wrap up in a sheet and pout at the camera?), and then for her to say it was unintentional is a big, fat lie. At least own up to what you did, Miley!

    I cannot believe that her parents were on set during her photography session and didn't stop this. Miley has to realize she's a role model for good or bad whether she wants to or not. It was Miley's choice but it was still wrong and I'm disappointed in her self-absorbed conduct.

    People that complain about things like this are using television and hollywood as their babysitter. Your kids are not celebrities responsibility.

The body is in art form and is beautiful, no one is saying it's not. This issue is about actions and choices affecting the behavior of a whole new generation. Maybe if Miley was 18 this wouldn't be as big of a scandal. The fact that she is so young is affecting younger generations.

I doubt your little girl just from seeing a picture is gunna go get naked wrap herself in a sheet and take pictures. -.- Even so, when I do have children, and lets say that are 14 or 15 and want to take some artistic pictures which, well, people DO TAKE! I am not going to object, I'm going to explain to my child how pornography and taking your clothes off for strangers is not okay, and I don't think they should ever do that while under my roof. I'm never going to discurage art - NEVER. I have a million nieces and nephews, I grew up with children around me and I love my nieces and nephews as if they were my own, I don't find Annie Liebowitz photography anything worth hiding. Teach kids right from wrong in the first place and hope they make the right decisions, and if they don't, let them learn from their mistakes. Don't blame a photographer who isn't shooting for Nickolodeon Magazine but VANITY FAIR.

    Leibovitz is known for taking controversial pictures. Got to live up to the image and keep her name out there. Miley is just a dumb little girl who probably thought it was cool to pose looking like a child hooker. This is why children usually have guardians...to watch out for their best interests because they are too easy to influence. Unfortunately Miley's guardians dropped the ball and let Annie use their daughter to generate controversy and publicity for herself.
