Miley Cyrus Reportedly Wants a Baby 'Quickly': Is She Too Young?

We were shocked to learn that 19-year-old Miley Cyrus is engaged, let alone thinking about having babies! But according to Us Weekly, she and fiancé Liam Hemsworth are already thinking about having kids, just a month after he popped the question.

"Miley and Liam really want to have a baby quickly," a Cyrus family source tells the mag. "They are both mature and ready for this," a source adds. "Miley is 19 going on 40." We've heard rumblings that daddy Billy Ray Cyrus is hoping for a LONG engagement, so we're not sure he'd agree with this "family source."

"Hunger Games" actor Hemsworth, 22, is on the young side himself, but perhaps he's been inspired by his brother Chris Hemsworth, who welcomed his daughter India in May. Do you think Miley is too young to have a baby?

I had my first at 20 (pregnant at 19). Best thing that ever happened to me. A 19 year old can easily raise a child, plus she'll be married and financially stable.

She's nor even married to him yet. Call me old fashioned but you should make sure you want to be with the person for the rest of your life before you have a child with them. Almost everyone in Hollywood divorces or cheats, she should wait a while for something before she makes that commitment.

She is getting married to someone she loves, and has been in a fairly long relationship with. Plus, she has been famous since she was 11, so that adds about 10 years of maturity to her. So yeah, I think she is.

Starting a family young isn't for everyone, but there are practical advantages to doing it. It's usually easier to concieve when you're young and children of younger women tend to be healthier. I think that's the biological reason for men's tendency to prefer younger women. She will also have the advantage of having the kids out of the house by the time she's in her 40s.

Miley Cyrus didn't grow up in an average American home with average parents and experiences. I am guessing that she has grown up faster than most people her age. I know 19 would have been too young for me but for her, who knows?

I hated Miley Cyrus regardless. All I can understand is that she's as fake as hell. I never really watched that Hannah Montana show. She pretended to be a sweet innocent girl, and she grew into some scandoulous, promiscous piece of trash. She portrays this fake image, and after a few nude photos leaked into the internet...Well regarding wether or not she shouldhave a baby, no, not ever. I mean for starters, she's 19. and second, you should wait at least till your older, maybe around 20-25 O_O

Miley is an actress playing the part of a fictional character, Hannah Montana. It is the job of an actor to pretend to be someone else. If you look at it that way, you may not feel as offended by her "real" self. I agree that she is not a good role model for young people.

Miley Cyrus is acting quickly on impulse. Cyrus really wants a baby very much. She sounds in a hurry not trusting a long term relationship with fiance Liam Hemsworth, Having a baby with Liam Hemsworth seems more urgent to Miley Cyrus than having a long relationship with him. These stars like the idea of having babies because they usually don't do the dirty work. They pay Nanny's.

It's fine to have a kid young and can be okay, but I just think she has so much life to live and a kid can hinder that (I also think married at 19 is a bit young too), but it isn't my opinion that matters and if that's what will make her happy then great.
