Miley Cyrus Gets Super-Short Pixie Haircut: Cute or Crazy?

Miley Cyrus has been getting a new haircut practically every month lately -- and now, there's officially nothing left to cut. The newly engaged former Disney star has chopped her hair into a super-short pixie cut.

Sharing photos of the new 'do on Twitter, Miley wrote: "feeling so happy in my skin," "never felt more whole in my life," and "someone told me I'm prettier than Miley Cyrus." For those who were a little, er, alarmed by the drastic cut, she wrote: "my dad @billyraycyrus used to tell me "opinions are are like (a--)holes every body has one" LOVE my hair ❤ feel so happy, pretty, and free."

Before the cut, when fans begged her not to go through with it, she wrote: "It's happening. if you don't have something nice to say don't say anything at all. my hair is attached to my head no one else's and it's going bye bye :)" Well, she certainly looks ... edgy. But what 19-year-old hasn't done something kind of crazy to their hair?

For all those calling her immature, she donated her hair to charity, to make wigs for people with cancer. I think that's pretty great. And while she doesn't look her absolute best, her hair will grow back in.

idk, i'm really split on this one. i wish there was a "inbetween" vote. i mean on the one hand, it does look kinda cute for the shape of her face, and 4 all we know, that could have just been a bad picture, BUT on the other hand, i will say i liked her a lot better with long, medium-brown hair. dammit i think i'm leaning more towards "crazy" than "cute." oh how i wish i could change my anwser... lol

Ok so for everyone saying she donated it to charity i hope you all know that is just a rumor. She never once said she donated it. Also to donate hair it must be a certain length since she has being cutting her hair off bits at a time it probably means she didn't meet the requirement there for she probably didn't meet the requirement and didn't donate it. Just thought y'all should know.

I have had short hair, long hair, in-between hair, punk hair, sleek hair, chic hair . . . one thing have I learned. It usually grows back!

Let her do what she wants. She's young and rich . . . once it gets a little longer she can always buy new hair (i.e., extensions).

I think I'd look better a different color (brown), but that doesn't matter. What matters is that she is happy and feeling great. She's had a lot of pressure on her, with the whole world hating on her and watching her every move. That must be tough having everybody scrutinize you during your teenage years (they're hard enough as it is....). Good for her for standing up for what she wants and not listening to people's rude opinions. It's only hair; it'll grow back before you know it. And the people that will receive wigs from the hair she donated will be very, very happy. So good for Miley.
