Miley Cyrus has been photographed with yet another tattoo, making this her seventh.

Though she already has a tiny heart and a tiny cross tattooed on her hands, this latest tattoo is her simplest inking yet. It's simply two parallel lines on her left ring finger.

Cyrus posted a picture of the new tattoo to her Twitter account with the heading, "all LOVE is equal," confirming that the lines are in fact an equal sign, which we can only assume is a statement in support of gay marriage, which was just recently made legal in New York.

Cyrus even got a little heated about the tat when some of her followers started to criticize her for voicing her support of the controversial movement.

She tweeted, "@MileyCyrusLuver Where does it say in the bible to judge others? Oh right. It doesn't. GOD is the only judge honey. 'GOD is love.'

However, when her supporters started to turn on each other she raised her hand and asked that everyone just take a chill pill and focus on the "love" part of her message.

"Dude everyone lay off @MileyCyrusLuver," she later added. "Love u! Everyone is entitled 2 opinions! 'if u don't stand 4 something you'll fall for anything.' :)"

I dont know why, but I tend to think that lots of small tatoos (especially on your fingers) are a bit tacky. I'm not sure, but is this a sign of her subtly hinting that she's bi/lesbian? I dont know, I dont care (much!) but I will be watching this space!

I care about her and her music and I will support her no matter what.
