Why do you care so much? Even though I can't say I exactly like it, I think what he's chosen to do with his body is interesting and much better done than any other full body tattoos I've seen. And when it comes right down to it, a person is a person regardless of what their skin looks like. In 20 years, he'll probably be enjoying the money he made and not giving a crap what people think.

I myself am getting a quote so I'm in no place to say it's boring but mine is going to be in original Norwegian and it's a saying my mother loved as well as myself have gotten a kick out of.
There's a few rules to tattoo's I have.
1. it has to be inoffensive.
2. It has to mean something to you, have a story behind it.
3. KNOW what you're going to get, because this will be on you forever.
4. Always look for a capable artist even if you have to drive all over town to find them.
5. Always make sure they've got a sterilized shop and new needles with good equipment.
6. NEVER be cheap, make sure you save if need be because you get what you pay for.
7. Tip on top of what you spend, because if you go back for another one the artist will take care of you.
8. Take care of your tattoo after, make sure you put sunscreen on and protect it to keep from fading and not so many touch ups needed.

These are important tips when getting tattoos so you're happy with them the rest of your life with no regrets, my mom said I would regret my one tattoo and I've had it for 9 years and I'm still very happy with it, everyone loves the work that was done and still looks fantastic after all this time with no fading.

I wouldn't call them boring.. but I wouldn't call them beautiful. I think they can look pretty awesome when placed properly, but on the inside of your arm is not how to properly place a quote tattoo, because people can't read it from afar making it look like random notes. If you have it on your back or torso, I think it looks better. However, the torso probably isn't the best place for a woman to get a tattoo. That's the other problem with quote tattoos-- they look nice now, but in fifty years you probably won't be able to read them.

I like them. They can be beautiful and meaningful with thought actually put into them. Art to the mind and the eye. Now, celebrities getting reported as getting a new one? That bores me to tears because I truly don't care anymore than a passing fancy at strange times.

Depending on the quote, they can be inspirational to that person. I don't know why Miley Cyrus getting a new tattoo is always considered "controversial," though. Lots of people get tattoos everyday. It's not that big of a deal, honestly.

Any tattoo with meaning is beautiful. These days people just get anything permanently etched their skin, so it's refreshing to see something that's deep and/or has personal meaning.

I think the vast majority of tattoos are boring. And if you have more than a couple (more than one per body part), then it's revolting.

Admittedly I don't like tattoos, but why do beautiful hollywood types get them? Megan Fox, Miley, Taylor, and so on. Even if tats were attractive, it's not like they could make these girls anymore beautiful! I'll never understand.

It really depends! I think they can be meaningful and lovely, but this is a little too much text, in my opinion.

Four words-who cares about Miley? On the other hand, quote tattoos can be quite beautiful.

I like them, maybe not a massive, unreadable paragraph, but small, inspiration quotes are fine. Though that has nothing to do with Miley Cyrus.

Neither! I don't know why she wanted to tattoo that quote. But the way I see it, tattoos aren't meant to be cute, they're supposed to mean something. I don't care if someone thinks my quote tattoo is boring, it means something to me and that's all that matters!
