The 19-year-old former Disney princess is engaged to 22-year-old "Hunger Games" actor Liam Hemsworth, the couple confirms to People.com. "I'm so happy to be engaged and look forward to a life of happiness with Liam," Cyrus tells the mag.

The Australian hunk popped the question on May 31 with a 3.5-carat diamond ring from jeweler Neil Lane, three years after he started dating Miley, People reports. The couple met on the set of "The Last Song" in 2009; at the time, Miley called Hemsworth her "first serious boyfriend." They've since broken up and gotten back together multiple times, according to reports.

They're both being ridiculous. At least the others had promising futures and careers. Her's has been down the toilet for a while now and is paved with idiocy and scandal. His, well, let's just say unless they're making a Hunger Games sequel, which I doubt because it wasn't that great, he's going to be out of a job. Since nobody wants him ever since we noticed he had an older brother. Planning to get married isn't one of those things that would make everything better about now.

I'm not a fan of Liam Hemsworth myself, but I would say his career is just taking off. Not only are they making a sequel to the Hunger Games (filming begins September of this year), they're planning on releasing 4 Hunger Games movies. Not that their careers have anything to do with getting engaged. They both have more than enough money to support themselves for the rest of their lives.

I had no idea they were doing that. Well, I honestly hope the acting gets better. They really sucked. He's been trying to get a stable job. This might just be it. It's not really about the money. Money isn't the only reason people break up. It's scandal, poor communication, jealousy, them being terribly matched, etc. etc. I don't really believe it's going to work. Mostly because of Miley going off the deep end lately, him I'm not really worried about. Besides, their relationship is mostly on and off.
