"Life is beautiful," Miley Cyrus tweeted Wednesday morning. And why is she in such a good mood? The 19-year-old former Disney princess is engaged to 22-year-old "Hunger Games" actor Liam Hemsworth, the couple confirms to People.com. "I'm so happy to be engaged and look forward to a life of happiness with Liam," Cyrus tells the mag.

The Australian hunk popped the question on May 31 with a 3.5-carat diamond ring from jeweler Neil Lane, three years after he started dating Miley, People reports. The couple met on the set of "The Last Song" in 2009; at the time, Miley called Hemsworth her "first serious boyfriend." They've since broken up and gotten back together multiple times, according to reports.

Does it really matter to us. They will split in about 5 years. Then I will probably be back on here commenting "I told you so." I believe all these marriages on this list ended in about 5 years anyway. It's Hollywood people. Anyway........best wishes to them.

Getting married at 17 is a bit too young in my opinion. I can't see that happening in this generation and lasting very long. It worked in earlier generations.

P.S. While Miley and Liam are ENGAGED, they are NOT MARRIED yet. Who knows, the engagement could be called off before they even decide a wedding date.

Just because Miley and Liam are ENGAGED doesn't necessarily mean they are getting married yet. You can be engaged and yet not get married for several more years. Besides, he's definitely not too young, and 19 really isn't THAT bad...well....Hollywood marriages have trouble anyways but many people get married young, and last just fine, just like many people wait till they are older and still divorce. I don't think the age necessarily matters so much as to your level of commitment to each other.

I just chose anything but I do think it's too young. It could work out, most of them don't but I'm nit wishing any harm. Personally, I'd never dream of marrying that young. Plus, your first love? Not that it's a bad thing if they're really "the one" but it's better to have other relationships because you learn more. But either way I'd rather be dating around, partying and having fun at 19...but that's just me :)
