Any girl who dreams of being a movie star may want to think twice. Take Mila Kunis, for example. The 28-year-old actress recently admitted in an interview with Glamour magazine that she rarely dates. So it’s no wonder why she says if she wasn’t a celebrity, she’d definitely be looking for love online.

The jet-setting young star is never in one place long enough to find the right guy. But she conceded that she’d much rather find a guy on the Internet than go cruising bars for one. Of course, those people who believe the rumors that Kunis is secretly dating her former “That ‘70s Show” co-star Ashton Kutcher aren’t buying her sad romance tales.

The “Ted” actress said since she can’t sign up for an account herself, she uses her matchmaking skills instead. The actress spends time on sites like OKCupid, helping friends craft clever quips to potential suitors. And even though Kunis isn’t ready to take the plunge and go “shopping” for a mate on the Internet, other celebrities have given it a go. It didn’t work for Jenny McCarthy, but “Dancing with the Stars” judge Carrie Ann Inaba found her fiancé on eHarmony. Would you try Internet dating?

I picked 'No' because I have tried internet dating and not only is it a nerve-wracking experience (if you're female, I think -- what if I'm meeting a serial killer/rapist?), but fruitless. People are not truthful about who they are online; even when they try to be because online dating sites try to shove you in a box and people don't belong in boxes (not to sound like a hipster or something). Online dating for my friends and I was a total crapshoot. I met nice guys, none I wanted to really be with. In the end, my boyfriend was someone I vaguely knew in college and reconnected with.

I know many of my friends who have done internet dating, and they all turned out horrible. In fact, one of my friends ended up with a criminal. Two criminals actually, her ex and her current boyfriend are criminals. Every since my friends did internet dating we've drifted apart so much.

1, I'm very happily married.

2, I was a researcher for an internet dating scam warning site and was horrified by the number of fakes and scammers that are out there! I am a middle aged guy who only manages to look average on a good day but the number of Russian, Ukranian, Nigerian women who fell in love with me after writing two or three e-mails was truly astonishing!

I had this character from Holland contact me about a story I'd written. He "fell in love" with me after only one email. I tried to be polite, but his emails kept getting progressively creepier. Finally I told him to not bother emailing me any more as all his emails would henceforth be routed to the trash. I am quite sure he was after a green card.

Undoubtedly! Either a green card or money. The usual scenario is they need money for tickets, visas, etc. If you send the money then they tend to get mugged on the way to the airport and need it to be sent again!

Tried that once, not ever again.Does anyone remember ICQ & AOL chats?! those days 'dating' was somewhat idk, lack of a better word, safer, than nowadays. now there are sooo many sites, and crazy people on them I wouldn't even want to 'look' for a date or match.

I once had this freak chat with me on AOL chat who started talking about how his ex girlfriend was such a bitch. He then started calling me at my UNLISTED phone number (which I did not give him) leaving messages like "you bitch, why don't you call me back?" My son was only four years old at the time, and this stalker scared the hell out of me. I never participated in chat after that.
