  2. Kelsey Grammer

    Kelsey Grammer

Earlier this month, Grammer's ex-wife Camille said he's "always wanted to run for office," specifically, for president. More recently, the conservative Republican expressed interest in running for NYC mayor.

  3. Alec Baldwin

    Alec Baldwin

The politically outspoken "30 Rock" star and liberal Democrat said he won't run for NYC mayor in 2013 because of his show … but he may get a master's degree to "better understand the job."

  4. George Clooney

    George Clooney

Clooney is involved in global issues from Africa to Haiti, but he told Newsweek, "I didn't live my life in the right way for politics. I [bleeped] too many chicks and did too many drugs, and that's the truth."

  5. Clint Eastwood

    Clint Eastwood

OK, he's 81, which could pose a problem. But the registered Republican, who is liberal on social issues, was mayor of his California hometown for one term in 1986. And he's bad ass.

  6. Jay-Z

    Jay-Z

Last fall, the rapper said, "Give me a chance. Maybe in eight years, I'll be the president." Hey, if he could go from the Brooklyn projects to gazillionire, maybe he could do something about our economy.

  7. Patricia Heaton

    Patricia Heaton

Heaton is pro-life, against stem cell research and supportive of Israel. She's also easy on the eyes (it doesn't hurt).

  8. Donald Trump

    Donald Trump

Could the Donald be the president? For a while there, it looked like he could be, but then that whole birther thing happened ...

Matt Damon may soon be doing a little "Good Will Hunting" near you ... if Michael Moore has his way.

"I think that [Matt Damon] has been very courageous in not caring about who he offends by saying the things that need to be said here, and if you want to win, the Republicans have certainly shown the way -- that when you run someone who is popular, you win," Moore recently said. "Sometimes even when you run an actor, you win. And I guess I only throw his name out there because I’d like us to start thinking that way."

Not only is 40-year-old Damon involved in many causes, like the need for clean water worldwide, he generally doesn't bite his tongue when it comes to the issues.

Recently, he defended tenure-seeking teachers to a conservative reporter, and argued that wealthy people like himself should be paying more taxes.

"The wealthy are paying less than they paid at any time else, certainly in my lifetime, and probably in the last century," he said. "I don't know what we were paying in the roaring 20's; it's criminal that so little is asked of people who are getting so much. I don't mind paying more."

He's also taken aim at one of his former pet causes -- President Barack Obama. He used to support the president, but he's had issues with Obama's relationship with Wall Street and stance on education.

"I really think he misinterpreted his mandate. A friend of mine said to me the other day, I thought it was a great line, 'I no longer hope for audacity,'" he told Piers Morgan in March. "He's doubled down on a lot of things, going back to education... the idea that we're testing kids and we're tying teachers salaries to how kids are performing on tests, that kind of mechanized thinking has nothing to do with higher order. We're training them, not teaching them."

Whether you agree with him or not, Damon does have an eloquent way of speaking his mind. He's also married with four kids (three biological), went to Harvard (didn't graduate) and won an Oscar (for writing, not acting).

That said, there's also been a lot of political buzz around Kelsey Grammer and Alec Baldwin lately ...

Good, solid, moral, and conservative. She has a sense of humor but is well-grounded. She has a lot to give. Another solid conservative you left off the list is Dennis Miller.

I REALLY WISH TO SAY NONE OF THE ABOVE!!!!!!!! I don't like any of these people.... I would like to say Steve Harvey or Martin Lawrence, but they would get kicked off of TV for cursing, and for being to opinionated, which is what we need in America, but of course aren't allowed to have!

I know Kelsey's a Republican. I believe Clint is, too. Which instantly qualifies him because he kicks ass. Damon, Clooney, and Baldwin? They can wallow in their own crapulence.

There should be "NONE OF THE ABOVE" They have been busy all their lives in show biz. They haven't the political knowledge to be president. But if I have to pick one Damon or Eastwood would make the best president. For heaven sake keep Trump out of it. He's a real idiot. He would really F--k up.

He's tough, that Clint Eastwood. I don't follow the "real" lives of celebrities, but if he's anything like his typecast roles, I say we could use a guy in the White House with an attitude like that.

And for those of you who would even CONSIDER Matt Damon for president...I don't even have words for it...

I know a better one. There was an obscure actor from the 50's. He was in a few westerns, and was also in a weird movie called "Bedtime for Bonzo".

My sentiments exactly. There should have been the option "Other" on this poll. That's why I wasn't able to vote. My answer is, "NO celebrity should ever run for President!" As for Michael Moore, he is an f'ing #$&@*#$! I would never vote for anyone he endorsed! He's also a lunatic and a liar! And Alex Baldwin is another facist Libtard! When George Bush was running for re-election, Baldwin and his then-blimbo wife, Kim Bassinger, made a public announcement that if Bush won the election that they would move to Europe. I knew they wouldn't leave the U.S. and, of course, they didn't! George Clooney is another radical Leftie Hollywood Elite who is no more qualified to run for President than any of the others mentioned here. The only one who has political experience is Clint Eastwood who was Mayor of Carmel, CA several years ago. I think he had enough of politics! political experience clint eastwood mayor carmel ca years politics celebrity airheads

    Clint Eastwood is cool though.
Just as long as it isn't Donald trump or Alec Baldwin.

I would go with Matt Damon. The only hold back I would have is that he does not have any campaign experience. On the other hand Clint Eastwood was mayor of Carmel by the Sea, in California

She seems pretty well rounded and intelligent. I'm not gonna mention pretty because I would rather have a smart troll in there instead of a hot idiot. As for Matt Damon, I wouldn't vote for anyone that Michael Moore endorses if my life depended on it. If Alec Baldwin spoke the truth he would have moved out of America when W. was elected so I don't pay attention to anything he says anyway. And WTF is Jay-Z doing on this list???

Clint Eastwood has had political experience, though purely on a municipal level, which puts him above most celebrities for a presidential candidacy in my eyes.
