Michael Jackson Heroin or Methadone Overdose: Fact or Fiction?

I don't want to believe the accusations, but sources close to the family report that Michael Jackson overdosed on heroin/methadone to commit suicide. Many have reported the numerous track marks in his arm from hypodermic needles. Joe Jackson and the family don't want any negative news about Michael to come out, so they may wage a campaign of misinformation.

Even if Michael Jackson did die from Heroin or Methadone, will the family and the press release the information?

    I think this is the oldest, saddest story when it comes to celebrities. They get drugs from a doctor or they have a doctor living in the house and they think it's going to make a difference. I don't think MJ deliberately overdosed, but I heard the guy was on a whole bunch of different drugs a recipe for disaster. This has been the end result for many. The list is endless.

    Its hard to say,but I'm thinking it was the drug his doctor gave him, so he looked legal. If he was doing heroin he would have to buy it on the street, methadone you need to get from a clinic, and they suggest drug counseling. His doctor may have been able to get metadone I'm not sure.

    I believe it was a mix of drugs.Not just heroin..That choice was not given..
    Yesterday Jane Velez Mitchell's guest made a "blip" in her comment about the Jackson's private autopsy...She said that all that was found in MJ's stomach were pills and alcohol...Jane Velez quickly corrected the guest in stating that the information was from the family autopsy,not the coroner..Therefore the "drug and alcohol abuse" conversation would have to wait until the official report.. Hmmm...so the family has had the report?!!! Of course...
    Dr.Perper was also interviewed [Anna Nicole]...he said that the coroner is most likely taking the extra 2 weeks for release of the coroners report,as the propofol should have showed up immediately if it were MJ's cause of death..The coroner is taking extra measure to make sure all of MJ's Dr's are accounted for,as propofol is not a prescribed medication..The media will never report the Heroin as cause of death nor the Los Angeles Coroner's report...It wouldn't even make sense as sole cause of death...Think about it..!
    Either way...LA is stuck with a huge bill for the man power involved in the outer circus smoke screen memorial....Oiy! Yours and my tax dollars...The state is in financial crisis,yet the promoters of MJ who paid for the memorial...pfftt....the...

Redundancy is not good form...Writing about the tax dollars would have been more informative I should think...Your offices are near the Encino Jackson's compound..yes? I would think you'd take a vested interest in that...You had to have seen the man power Los Angeles put out....

    I find it difficult to respond to any of this as it would be just an opinion and I really don't care. This man is dead; he was an entertainer and as such may have been involved in all kinds of things. Why not allow him to rest in peace now because nothing we say or think can have any impact on him any longer. Michael Jackson died because his heart stopped beating and that is all I know.

    This line of thinking can only open new doors, if it was heroin, did someone give it to him or did he ask for it. If it was not heroin, was it HIV because of his weight, was he trying to void a contract? His Children and family now deserve our silence and a chance to grieve without the public watching. It’s enough that Michael’s Father is trying to make a profit on his death, if we care about him we should not keep it alive and if we don’t care about him, what does it matter?

    Not really sure what the actual cause was - but certainly it was due to addictions. However, the real cause of his death goes back to his childhood with his abusive father and ineffectual mother who apparently could not or would not protect him from his "father". This led to a very sad life for Michael Jackson.

    Michael Jackson was murdered, cant you put 2 and 2 together yet? He just had a full examization and was found in perfect health, no drug use. who is fooling who? and why are you so easy to believe in lies. If Michael died of heroin then it was given to him but not by his will.
    We need to clear Michael Jackson's name they percuted him in life we cant let them do that to him in death. Let us prove his innocents of all the false charges against him.

    Good grief, there is only one responsible for MJ’s death is MJ. You are a nut who has not taken the time to look at the evidence. MJ has been doing drugs for decades. This is a perfect example of what happens when you have more money than sense. I am so sick of all of the nuts with conspiracy theories. I cannot imagine anyone on the face of the earth who cares enough about, whacko jacko to put together a plan and kill him. No one cares and he has nothing anyone wants. He is in debt up to his eyeballs and the only ones who want what he has is his family. Maybe it was them who put together this plan on getting him to inject drugs for twenty-five years and they become a Chester the molester. Oh yea, everyone wants to be just like him. BWAAA HAHAHAHAHAHA He was nothing but a performer and I will admit a pretty good one, but that does not make him anything but what he really was, a poor man with nothing to hold on to in his whole life but his performances. In the end, nothing. Just another tragedy to talk about and hope it does not happen to anyone else, but it will.

    I was very sad at his passing and I watched the wonderfully put together million dollar plus Memorial that LA has to pay for(.And I cried when his daughter and Marlon spoke.I cried because he was a great entertainer and for that special time in music for my kids and myself when he was magical - that eventually passed .He began to kiss chimps on the mouth and carry Emanuel Lewis around on his shoulder) ) But I'm wondering why some of the ceremony was not paid for by the Jackson family, multi-millionares? And I think Michael was not a good person in some ways . Just spending money left and right for "things" he didn't need and eventually couldn't pay for. Why wasn't it spent on helping others and needy children (Hello? "We are the World. We are the Children") And altho he was acquitted of wrongdoing, I think where there's smoke there's fire.Now, it;s coming out that he was gay. duh? And a drug addict.

    Where is the "Who Cares" option? I am about to die of a Michael Jackson overdose injected 24/7 for the last couple of weeks by the media.
    Grab your shovels and come with me. I'm going to go bury Michael Jackson and a few hundred media reporters once and for all!
    I am saddened by his passing, but I am now sick to death of the overkill reporting by the media.

    It's just too soon to tell how he died and how this grieving family will react. Michael had jumped off the high board into the deep end of mental instability a long time ago. A gifted genius, but not someone I would want around my children. He wasn't allowed to be a child himself and suffered because of it. I think everyone in his family has the same problem to a certain degree - but let's allow them to grieve and choose to overlook their peculiarities. Let them be human too!

    An overdose wouldn't surprise me at all. But it will be hard to convince me that it was accidental or done by MJ himself. I'm not sure it was heroin either. I just hope the family and especially his kids find some peace in whatever the outcome.

    I think he had a whole pharmacy at his disposal. I don't know if the family will release the results of the blood tests if it's up to them. I don't believe he committed suicide I think it was just a matter of time before his body could not handle the amount of drugs he was abusing if the reports of the nurse and others interviewed are correct.

    It's sad that he died so young. The question is why was he given so much drugs for pain. So drugs are suppoes to be given in the hospital,you can't mix a lot of drugs, you are asking for trouble if you do. The truth will come out what Michael died of when the final toxicology and autopsy reports come out.     I'm sure that he died from some overdose. Regardless, the truth will come out. It's a very sad situation when these celebrities get caught up on drugs that these doctors are willing to hand out.

    I have no idea if he died from heroin or not, but if that's the way he chose to leave this world, that's all it was. A choice. It shouldn't be something that changes anyone's opinion of him. We all deal with life the best that we can. His life was difficult in ways most of us can't even imagine. I'm not a huge MJ fan, but hopepfully he's resting in death like he never could in life.

    Who knows?! I'm sure the media will milk it for another 12 days once the toxicology results come back. Seems kinda odd that he would choose heroin when he had access to stronger more expensive drugs.
