Michael Jackson has passed away, multiple media outlets are reporting.

The singer suffered a cardiac arrest Thursday afternoon and was rushed to the emergency room.

When paramedics arrived at Jackson's home, he had no pulse and they never got a pulse back.

Once at the hospital, the staff tried to resuscitate Jackson but they had no luck.

Such a sad loss, especially for his three young children.

And just . . . unexpected. I guess he's one of those people who becomes immortal in the hearts of so many that it's hard to believe he's gone, if that makes sense.

MJ didn't walk away when he needed to. He let the lust of the eyes & flesh rule in his heart .................look where it took him because he didn't let go of the past. There comes a time in all of our lives we must let go of the past so it will not cut our lives short. He never came up out of the ashes to the higher calling, unless he called out in his last hours. Just my belief.

When I heard the news I cried. He was born the same year as me and its like I grew up with him and his music. What a GREAT entertainer and rare talent he was. He was very much loved and will be missed!!!

I'm going to miss him so much, he was the Icon of the music industry and the Epitome of Pop music. He was the only pop artist I truly loved and respected.
