According to The Sun, Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston, two recently deceased pop legends who knew each other well in life, had a two-week fling together in 1991 (a year before she married Bobby Brown), and MJ was apparently still in love with her on his death bed. The rumor comes from 32-year-old martial arts master Matt Fiddes, who served as Jackson's bodyguard from 1998 until his death in 2009.

Fiddes told The Sun, "[I] know this affair will end all the myths that Michael was some kind of child molester — he was a straight man ... One of the many stories that has never been told about Michael is that he had an ultra-secret affair with Whitney Houston that he never got over. He was furious when he heard she had also slept with Jermaine but this didn’t stop him holding a candle for her his whole life." It's a fantastic tale if true, but do you buy it? Did Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston have a fling?

Maybe I'm a little jaded from living in Vegas. But, I've seen plenty of hookups that made no sense except for the fact that both people were good looking and willing.

Very believable and probably true. Michael was not a child molester, but was extorted by a disgruntled parent who was upset that his son was not placed in one of Michael's videos, and by a record company who was trying to get back his ownership of the entire Beatles catalog.

Although Matt Fiddes's dates are wrong (Michael and Whitney met in the 1980s), his conclusion about them having an afair (albeit a brief one) is correct. Whitney only dated Jermaine for about a year (1984-1985). She was involved with MJJ for a short period of time in the late 1980s, and aferwards, they became very good friends.

I think anything is possible and if they did, I guess that was fine. It is sad that both suffered tragic, sudden deaths. I hope they are now both at peace although I feel terible for their families. Dealing with the loss of a loved one is truly difficult.

You know, maybe I should have voted believable ! I never thought MJ was a child molester... period. His childhood was taken away so a bunch of "jews"(Illuminati) could use him to get rich. Then they turned around and tried to destroy him, because he had told them to screw off; he wasn't going to play by their rules anymore. I knew he had dated Brooke Shields at one time, but never thought about him, and Whitney. Cute "couple" they would have been, and could you imagine the talent that their off-spring would have had ! Matt Fiddes is not a reliable source, not only did he sell out Jackson to reporters and subsequently get fired for it, he runs a 'martial arts school' in my home county of Devon that massively over-charges and uses unqualified instructors whilst advertising his intent of helping children to defend themselves, gain confidence, etc, praying on parents who don't know more about the martial arts system.

And for your information, I bet you some of the words that you and I use come from Black english.
