"Wow, I try not to envy, but I have to say Jake's got a damn good-looking head," Damon, 40, told People. "Gyllenhaal definitely gets the blue ribbon for the best bald head over me," he said at the New York premiere of his new killer virus thriller, "Contagion."
And like many men (and a few women), Damon is enjoying the low-maintenance lifestyle that a bald head allows.
"It's really liberating. I get out of the shower and just run the towel over my head and I'm done," he told People.
Confirming the stereotype that women like the bald, virile look, Damon says his wife digs his new dome.
"Thank God she does," he told the mag, "but you know she had to take a whole vow, for better or for worse, so she's kind of stuck with me!"

As someone who has gone with the "ultra crew cut" look for MANY years, I can definitely attest to the fact that it is a low maintenance look. You just mow your head every week and you're set... Shaving your head is too much work since you need to do it every day, but a super short crew cut is a lot less work.
