HBO has announced that legendary “Goodfellas” director Martin Scorsese is set to direct a documentary about the former president of the United States, Bill Clinton. They have also revealed that the project will have the Democrat’s full input.
In a statement, Scorsese, who most recently directed "Hugo" and "Shutter Island," described Clinton as "A towering figure who remains a major voice in world issues, President Clinton continues to shape the political dialogue both here and around the world," and added "Through intimate conversations, I hope to provide greater insight into this transcendent figure.”

Clinton has said "I am pleased that legendary director Martin Scorsese and HBO have agreed to do this film." He hasn’t been president since January 2001, but Clinton is still popular with the public. In July, Gallup measured Clinton’s favorability rating at 66%, and discovered that he is popular across almost all segments of the American public. Are you planning to see Martin Scorsese’s documentary about Bill Clinton?

But Bill's a different story. He did his job better than any other president in my lifetime.
We sure did have a hell of a good economy when he was in office.
I agree that he is pompous & he's always been a philanderer.
But he sure as hell did a good job working with Congress, building solid diplomatic relationships, balancing the budget, cutting spending, reducing government & ensuring there were loads of jobs to go around.
Please detail his cutting spending and ensuring the loads of jobs.
Our unemployment rate under Clinton was the lowest since Eisenhower at 4% (& created 22.5 million jobs).
Huh?
Sure, the dot com boom was going on, & it certainly contributed, but the numbers went down throughout his terms... it was definitely not 100% dot com boom.
