Marijuana vs Alcohol...

I grew up where its legal....didnt drink for years, but smoked regularly and i prefer the feeling by far ^^

I dont drink a lot. Only when I go out with friends and even than, there has to be a reason for it like a party or havent done it in a long time and feel like drinking a bit which is rare. I never smoked marijuana before and not sure if I ever will. Probably not. I prefer drinking and I don't get a hangover. Must taste so much better, too. I hate the smell of marijuana. Nasty smell to me....and don't understand why people like or want to smell like that. Sure you smell from drinking too, but I just find the other to smell worse. Probably fun to do, but not sure if I'll ever do it.

Moderation is the key. I personally do not smoke or drink, probably best that way. I just don't like the culture that surrounds those two drugs. Legal weed, fine. But it has its time and place.

I would rather use Marijuana.

They both have their place. I'm a strong proponent of legalizing mj. The nice thing about mj is no hangover. To those who responded that they can drive on mj--DON'T. Don't do anything that hinders your awareness and reaction time in any way.

It's more fun than alcohol... plus it has less severe side effects on women's health.

When I used, I used both, and then some. Alcohol became my preference in the long run, though. If I was ever going back (which I'm not), I would like to think I would choose the weed, which I think might be somewhat less destructive to my health and disruptive of my life. I'm not about to go experiment and find out, though.

I have that choice every single day. Gave up liking feeling out of control and stupid a long time ago. VERY rarely I might have a glass of Merlot. I wouldn't smoke pot again for anything.

I don't drink to get plastered. It depends on the person, but marijuana hurt my mental acuity and made me lazy. I stopped that crap a while ago.

I used to be a alcoholic and suffered greatly. Guess what I substituted at night instead of the alcohol... Mary Jane! :) and have no more trouble in my life!

I am not gonna say that to you, I do understand when you say PARENTS and then you say BOTH ARE RETIRED POLICE, well I'm like you I would not want to get killed... So yeah, I do understand very well, I was 14 once although I started earlier, but I never never did it in front of my parents and always did my work my homework the cooking before my parents came home from work, so yeah I was a functional pot head but a good one, but always knew not to do it in front of them. But I have to admit, my dad, well he smoked it they were very young parents and so you know how that goes, but anyways stick to what you're doing, it's ok and you are doing fine.

I can still drive when I am stoned. I may only make it up to 40 mph, but I can keep it between the lines and not be a danger to other drivers. Unless they're in a hurry.
