Blue Ivy Carter, the newborn child of Jay-Z and Beyonce, has already been named the youngest person to debut on the Billboard charts for crying on her dad's latest single, "Glory." But she's not stopping there. She's moving on to bigger and better things, like medical marijuana. Los Angeles-based weed dispensaries are reportedly selling a new strain called OG Blue Ivy.
OK, so the kid's not actually involved. It's clearly a marketing scheme designed to sell more product, like the Charlie Sheen weed that TMZ reported on back in March. You may or may not be opposed to the substance, but naming it after a newborn does seem a little bit tasteless in a certain light. Then again, maybe they can just think of it as a unique brand of It's a Girls.

However, Jay-Z, Beyonce or their baby are not involved in the decision making on this issue.
Celebrities.. *le sigh*
Edit: To be honest, I would have a bigger problem with people who named their children after drugs than people who name their drugs after children, particularly when it's just pot or weed or whatever you kids call it today :-).
