    It's possible I recently found I have lupus and thought I was the only one in my family too have lupus yet after talking to other family members I found out I had three close members that died from lupus and information received from my doctor it does run in family's so I understand mariah concerns I have a daughter too worry about also and that her father died of colon cancer at a young age so she will have two health concerns

    As a mother, I would be terrified too. Isn't there any way to test the children for the gene that cause this disease? Seems like there should be.
