"Magic Mike"
When we first saw the ad for "Magic Mike," we thought, "Could this be any cheesier?" Believe it or not, the movie inspired by Channing Tatum's own experience as a male stripper is getting good reviews.

If you're like us, when you first saw the ad for "Magic Mike," you thought, "Could this be any cheesier?" And your second thought was: "I get Channing Tatum, but did Matthew McConaughey really agree to be in this film?"
Believe it or not, it's getting good reviews. The film currently has a 79 percent critics' approval rating on rottentomatoes.com, with The Chicago Tribune's Michael Phillips giving it 3 1/2 stars. "Purest corn, 'Magic Mike' nonetheless has a human pulse and a sense of humor to go along with its willingness to entertain," Phillips writes, comparing it to "'Showgirls' with showboys, though without the hysteria or the punitive humiliation."
Of course, it helps that the film was helmed by esteemed director Steven Soderbergh, known for "Sex, Lies and Videotape," "Erin Brockovich," "Traffic" and "Ocean's Eleven." It was also inspired by Tatum's own experience as a male stripper.

It's like this. If I have to a dime to see good looking men with their shirts off then that's just wrong! I'm an attractive woman and to pay a cent to see good looking men naked is just plane degrading. I mean honestly, the day a hot guy refuses to get naked for me is the day I need to hang it up.
Another thing, as a woman, the number one thing is love and empathy, yes, I would love all that with a hot guy--no doubt. But just to look at a hot guy and know there is nothing more between him and me and know that he'll never be more than eye candy in my life, well that's just depressing. Now if he were to fall madly in love me then that would be great. But just a hot guy standing shaking his abs and a## in front of me----LAME!
