You've heard the jokes about the Brits having bad teeth. You've also seen countless pictures of Kate Middleton flashing her perfect choppers. Well, a new magazine cover isn't quite so kind to the Duchess of Cambridge.
For its issue about the future of Britain, The New Republic photoshopped Prince William's bride to look like she has yellow, decaying teeth. Kate Middleton stands in front of a shabby British flag under the headline: "Something's Rotten. The Last Days of Britain."

Many commenters were outraged by the "disrespectful" cover, which might have alluded a bit to the fact that Kate Middleton has reportedly had some work done on her teeth. That said, it's a pretty clever idea for a magazine cover. But did The New Republic go too far?

One more reason to hate America. Great.
I'm just appauled that they don't have any better stories and actually have to resort to this. Damn this world has become retarded...
She seems to be the kind of person who has already laughed it off, and moved on...
Even though I live in England, I'm not a mega-fan of Kate Middleton. Still, I think it's really disrespectful to have edited the photograph, and then publish it as a magazine cover.
It's also a bit offensive to Brits in general....
Here is a picture of her when she was 21.
