She is just pushing for the attention of by gone years when she was THE event of the year. She wants attention so bad that she will and has used negative items and actions to get it. If the web shots of her go viral she will feel, though wrongly, that millions upon millions of people still adore her. As a billionaire she can easily afford the losses of cancelling a show or shows.

Unfortunately, like so many entertainers and sports figures of the past and today, her intellect has grown, but her ego has not matured and is still that of a teen or young adult. Her managers need to let her know who is in the audience during private concerts, insure that the audience understands her desire for non-smoking, and that a non-smoking by the audience clause in her contracts.

Smokers can be overpowering to those who don't smoke. As a past pipe and Cigar smoker I can attest that now that I don't smoke I was not even aware of the effects of smoke on others. I can't go to a Casino where smoke is almost hanging in the air and everything stinks - even when you set down to a buffet fit for a King. At one point I would have thought she was nuts, but I now understand where she is coming from. The smoke was obviously bothering here - not just a political statement.

I wouldn't say "losing it", necessarily, but I do think she overreacted a bit. People do smoke; and she should have known those people didn't speak English. If all their replies are in Spanish, then that should tell you something.
