Madonna has long criticized Lady Gaga for jacking her style, and now rumor has it she's taking the criticism on tour. According to Madonnarama, a fan site, the pop diva is preparing a medley of her 1989 single "Express Yourself" and Gaga's 2011 single "Born This Way," which some have suggested is a rip-off of "Express Yourself." Cheeky, eh?

Madonna's record sales have been suffering for years, with her latest album, "MDNA," setting the record for worst second-week sales drop of all time. But her tour sold out in a hot minute, so that's going to be her chance to shine. The tour begins on May 31 and hits the U.S. in September. The set list will reportedly include old hits like "Material Girl" and "Like a Prayer," as well as new tunes like "Girl Gone Wild" and "Gang Bang." But do you think Madge's decision to cover a Gaga song on tour is a bit of a dig toward the young pop star?

All this does is emphasize that Madonna's time is over & now she actually has to imitate Lady Gaga to get attention, since she's not getting any herself. Madonna was IT back in the day. Sadly, we all get old, and we should do it with grace. Very sad that Madonna, now in her 50's, can't embrace that. Lady Gaga is almost 30 yrs. younger. That's just life.

I have always loved Madonna's music and her talent, but she is rude and always wants ALL the attention. She needs to practice what she learned in Kaballah and be gracious and supportive and not try to hog all the attention. She had her 2 decades in the spotlight.

Both of the video links that the moderators posted are banned here in Germany due to copyright issues, so can't watch them. The greed of those copyright people is sickening. Music should be free in many places, just like we get or offer free help here and there. Some music people think they must be paid for every breath they make, and that is unhealthy greed. Madonna should stop being paranoid about Lady Gaga. Madonna gives a more intelligent image, and if less people like that, that is OK, as the world is so full of idiots, and it's not easy to make the world intelligent. Regards from Berlin

Madonna and Lady Gaga need to do something more for the world, some activities that are inspiring apart from their music, so people would stop comparing them. For example, Lady Gaga could do hat making magazines. Madonna could do fitness training for ladies in their 50ties. They need to branch out into new directions like an octopus, and make sure they do things which are good for the humanity (Lady Gaga needs to stop promoting smoking and other crap)

Madonna and Lady Gaga could start a magazine together. I would love to read it, and I am sure others would too. A magazine without crap/alcohol/junk food. Martha Stewart advertises junk food even in her Body And Soul mag which is supposed to be a health mag. Madonna and Lady Gaga could both beat Martha Stewart in that respect (they can use me as a health guide as Hollywood is generally clueless about what is good for health and environment) : )

I like Lady Gaga's vegan fashion, but she needs to explain to people what it means- it means that killing for meat is not OK, and not killing means being vegan like Leonard Da Vinci or Beatles. To explain they need medium other than music

Okay, Madonna I have always liked you, but you are clearly jealous of Lady Gaga's success, who I also like. Its pathetic. You are too full of yourself. Other massive artists like Elton John and Cher who could have every right to be jealous have seen her obvious talent and respect her. You aren't even capable of a little respect for a fellow artist?
Its not like you are even the greatest singer ever, I always thought Whitney had a better voice, and even then, Gaga has a better voice to you. Even my mom says so, and she doesn't like Gaga too much.

I think Madonna is just reacting to her ever declining career - and lashing out where possible. I do see the similarities in the songs - but being inspired by something isn't a crime, even closely copying something. If Lady Gaga is okay with the cover - big deal, but the whole thing is making Madonna come across badly which she can't afford right now.
