We really can't call this a wardrobe malfunction. While performing her 1995 song "Human Nature," Madonna flashed her nipple -- on purpose -- at her Istanbul concert on Thursday night, a YouTube video reveals.

The pop superstar, 53, flashed her goods as part of a striptease. First, she removed her white shirt, then part of her lacy black lingerie. Then, she pulled down her bra to give the crowd a peek at her right nipple, eliciting cheers.

Madonna is clearly trying to drum up publicity for her MDNA tour. Last week, during a show in Tel Aviv, a swastika appeared stamped on the forehead of right-wing French leader Marine Le Pen as she performed "Nobody Knows Me."

She also performed a mash-up of "Express Yourself" and Lady Gaga's similar-sounding "Born This Way," then ended the song by saying, "She's not me." What do you think of her latest attention-seeking effort? Was it sexy? Or sad?

I think it's kind of sad and disgusting that she feels she must do that to get attention. Why do women nowadays feel that they have to shock us with some form of nuditiy or "bad" behavior? Do they think it impowers them somehow? It doesn't give them any power at all, it just makes them look like cheap whores who don't have any respect for themselves. It's sad.

Not sad, desperate ! She realizes that she can no long reinvent herself and years are finally taking their toll. Years ago she made a book that was so graphic that it could on;y be sold in a plain wrapper. Some day her children will see some of this.
She also realizes that Lady Gaga (also a media tramp) is taking her place, using her own media methods !

Its more than sad, it shows a lack of character on her part and also is a bad representation of a US citizen. This country is suppose to be an example of how a nation [ under God ] can be great by doing what is right...and being immoral just makes us look like a nation with loose standards and ha, ha attitudes. As a nudist, I could care less about seeing yet another nip, I have seen them all. It doesn't matter if the woman is a superstar or a super slut, for the most part, they all look the same as everyone elses. Who cares? Now if Madonna was trying to make a statement, then what was that statement? It certainly doesn't make me want to go out and buy her latest album, I already own it any way. So, intil the real reason is told by Madonna herself, we'll really never know what she was thinking.
