Still no word from the FCC regarding M.I.A.'s spontaneous middle finger at the Super Bowl halftime show, but now the "Paper Planes" singer is facing criticism from her own team. Madonna, who headlined the performance and featured M.I.A. in her "Give Me All Your Lovin'" music video, criticized the act, calling it a "teenager" and "irrelevant" thing to do -- even though a quick Google image search will confirm Madonna is no stranger to flipping the bird herself.
She told KIIS-FM, "I didn't know about it until I left. I was really surprised. I didn't know anything about it. I understand it's punk rock and everything, but to me there was such a feeling of love and good energy, and positivity. It seemed negative. It's one of the those things, it's such a teenager, irrelevant thing to do ... what was the point? It was just out of place." Hm. Is it just us or does Madonna sound a bit hypocritical -- especially with the photographic evidence below?

No one is talking about her or how her 'half-time' performance rated, they're only talking about MIA and the crude gesture. Kick MIA out of the country and keep her out. She flipped America the bird! Don't buy her records which supports her cause-- which is the terrorist organization Tamil Tigers.
If this mattered to Madonna, you would've heard from her loud and clear the very next morning! She's looking for some spot-light. We stuck a fork in her--she's done.
It's not punk rock!
That was madonna's biggest gig ever...and some one tried to screw it up..

The mixtape was produced by the two artists at Diplo's home studio in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Despite its unofficial status, several music publications included it in their listings of the best albums of 2004.
DOES MIA WANT TO LOSE HER BREAD? SHE's a SHRI-LANKAN-BRITISH from a slum of LONDON. SHE'S 36 YEARS OLD, not a child but acts like ONE. IF MIA DOESN'T LIKE the USA, then GO HOME or GO KISS CANADIANS' REAR ENDS.
mia? I HOPE YOU WILL ENJOY IT!
Do what you want when performing your own show. But don't pull crap like this when you aren't even the main act.
It is hypocritical.
Can't wait until someone comes up with something new.
What is the ole saying, "If it's too loud, your too old!"
