Well I have already seen Prometheus and I enjoyed it. I can understand the criticisms fanboys are shooting towards it, but they forget its going to be two parts and possibly a trilogy.

At least I can expect some entertainment with the cartoon.

I am a huge Ancient history fan, but what bugs me about these new remakes of historical figures and events, is sometimes they add in modern swear words, or comments that just don`t make sense for the era the movie is supposed to be in.

Example: That show that used to be on about Ancient Rome, I forget the name of the show , anyways, the characters would sometimes say the" F " word, it just didn`t go well with the show ,I made it seem stupid.

And the characters would have different accents other than Italian.

And they seem to add humour in movies that are supposed to be serious. Just Dumb.

OOPs, big time oops, lol, lol
I got ahead of myself , I thought this movie Prometheus was about the ancient Greek God /Hero. lol, lol

I like to laugh. Prometheus got better reviews, but that has almost a negative effect on my choice, since I might have opted for it under the theory that very few things in life are funnier than really awful sci-fi.

I have to say Madagascar 3 because I've had the Circus Afro song in my head practically since the first time I saw the tv spot for it. I wish they'd make a Marty figure that sang it, LOL. But Prometheus also looks good, so I'd probably see both, just Madagascar first more than likely.

Enjoyed the first couple Alien movies, so Prometheus looks interesting to me.

May go sometime this week.

I just never get to the movies these days and enjoy netflix more. That way I can see what I want a couple of times over and sometimes I even buy the DVD after watching. I like historical movies that are based on fact. I'm a little old fashioned and like the Masterpiece Theatre type entertainment.

The reason Madagascar got more love, is for two simple reasons: first and foremost it was rated PG and geared towards families, and 2, Prometheus was straight up rated R Which limited the amount of audience. Frankly I am sick to death of PG-13 movies, which casts out a wider net for audience participation, to equal greater revenue.

Actually I have no choice, my daughter is a Madagascar fan, I have to go and watch it with her! But that's OK, I think it's fun too (I'm SO childish sometimes)!!!

NO CONTEST! Madagascar is just another manufactured piece of crap. The only reason Mada 3 "got more love" is because its G or PG. R rated movies generally make less money because they have a restricted audiance.

But Prometheus looks pretty damn cool. And Magneto is in it! Or Michael Fassbender (who played an awesome Magneto).

I hoped Ridley Scott would break away would break away from his usual stories, but I was disappointed once again. I hate when movies ruin the last few minutes... It's like the endings of Da Vinci Code, the new Indiana Jones, every single freaking M. Night Shamalan movie. It left too open of an ending and had a weak plot/plots.
