Machete Movie Review
When we all saw grindhouse, we got a fake trailer for a film called Machete, so all of us fans said "Oh shit...this needs to be a real film!!" And what do you know?
I am a HUGE Robert Rodriguez fan, hell he is doing good with keeping himself in the middle between family films and rated R Films...even though that his latest family films have sucked...Still he is a great director, He has directed this Year the one and only PREDATORS! If you have not seen Predators yet, What the hell are you doing here?
So the basic plot line for Machete is this... Machete (Danny Trejo) is a renegade former "Mexican Federale". He roams the
cities, towns, and streets of Texas looking for work after a shakedown from a
drug lord called Torrez (Steven Segal). He gets double crossed and some other crazy shit happens and there is where the film takes off.
For the most parts the film was pretty dam fun, but the more you realize how much flaws this film has, the worse you think that the film is, Most action scenes in this film was done pretty well but it is robert rodriguez we are talking about here, of course the action was great, the preformaces were better than i thought, I Just can't comment on lindsey lohan though,But the biggest flaw for me in the film is that the final climax that all Rob Rodriguez fans have waiting for was severly dissapointing, i don't give a shit about the graphics, i mean if they are hyped up to be amazing, sure...but who cares besides that? Machete had cheesy graphics, which i thought to be pretty dam cool in a old 70's or 80's film. But the climax like i said was severly dissaponting? How? Four words...WORST.EDITING.JOB.EVER. This has to be the worst, and i mean the worst editing job for a climax of a film, and i thought that there have been worst but...dear god have mercy on how horrible the climax is.
Overall the film is pretty dam fun but the editing is pretty horrible.
What did you think of Machete?
