Lupe Fiasco has a history of expressing anti-Obama sentiments, so it's somewhat surprising that the rapper would be booked at any of the inaugural parties this week, but he was... and he didn't shy away from telling us what he really thinks.
Granted a 30-minute set at an inauguration party in Washington D.C. Sunday night, Lupe repeatedly performed his song "Words I Never Said" the entire time (the album version is only about four and a half minutes long.)
For those of you who aren't familiar with the track, the song is a protest against the war on terror and political violence, and it includes the lyrics "Limbaugh is a racist, Glen Beck is a racist/ Gaza strip was getting bombed, Obama didn't say s***/ That's why I ain't vote for him, next one either."
At some point near the end of his set, Lupe was escorted off the stage by security after refusing to move on to a new song. Promoters claim the decision was based on the crowd's dissatisfaction with the repetition, while others suspect it was really due to the controversial lyrics. What do you think? Was Lupe Fiasco's treatment fair or foul?

I never heard of this guy until saw this morning's local paper.
America made an electoral error in 2008 and 2012.
The First Amendment has now been edited. Obama, conveniently, found his new text in a single quote:
"It is the absolute right of the state to supervise the formation of public opinion." - Joseph Paul Goebbels
edit: everyone talking about they denying his free speech, do remember, he was singing the SAME song for 30 minutes, after being asked to move on to the next song. so even more I say fair.
