Only very recently have Letterman and Leno even gotten close. Ferguson skewers everyone. Carvey's complaints puzzle me because he attacks Bush all the time, and Bush isn't even in office.

People who've criticized in the past got their taxes audited, names exposed as "enemies" on Obama 2012 website, etc...

However, you should have no fear to do the right thing, even if President Obama retaliates.

Yet is the lack of comedy directed toward the president out of fear of retribution from the press, fear of retribution from the fans, or fear of being a trendsetter? Bill Clinton was impersonated regularly and his extramarital affairs were well documented and lampooned (same with Janet Reno and Al Gore.) So is it that the liberal press will kill the career of anyone who tries or is it possible that the comedian (likely a black one) would fear losing a black audience for making fun of the president?

Or, is it possible that aside from his big ears that this president's so boring that there's nothing really to pick apart aside from his appearance?

John got creamed on twitter by his fellow tolerant lefties for a joke tweet he made about him. I tweeted him back letting him know I luv his tweets, forgave him for being a dem and if he needs help securing his freedom of speech that conservatives would be there for him.

He had earlier tweeted he was a dem. He later tweeted he was what ever JFK was. I'd say there is a huge difference between what JFK was and what today's Democratic Party has become.

Seems that way. To me, when it comes to comedy, nothing is off limits. I don't get why so many of them are afraid to mock Obama. Politicians are one of the best comedy sources. They made tv shows making fun of Bush. I don't see why Obama would be different...there's A LOT of hate for him, so why would they not be able to make fun of him? I've never been offended by any type of comedy routine or joke. It's comedy. If you're that sensitive, avoid comedy. It's that simple.
I blame a lot of this on all of the pc crap these days.
