Looking for a reliable, not over the top expensive POCKET GUN, up to .380.
Lots of people are recomending Keltec and Pheonix for relibility and value for the money. What do you think. I like the double safety on the Phoenix and the long triger pull as a safety on the Keltec equally well. Just a matter of money?

Kel Tec is good though, yes. The P3AT is one of the most popular .380s on the market and served as "inspiration" to a lot of the newer pistols (read: the design was shamelessly copied).
The Ruger LCP is a good choice...mainly because it's one of of the pistols that was "inspired" by the P3AT. The one advantage of the LCP is that it's more available than the P3AT. Kel-Tec is a small operation and their products are in high demand, it's often hard to track their stuff down.
Because some of the ammo comming in won't fire on the first try (ftf),
and You don't want that .
Ssgtwaldo is giving some really good advice also.
Buy a glock 9mm. If you like them, You can't beat them.
PS. Out of a thousand rounds I have experienced NO malfunction. Not one. Same for my G-19
and it has had 5-6000 rounds through it without a malfunction.
Just purchased a Sig Saur P 238 in .380 .
It is a small, very small 1911 type action, Sig quality, single action, nice 5 lb trigger pull , nice , very nice gun,, a little expensive, compaired to the Ruger... it is twice the price of the Ruger and almost 6 oz more heavy
Who is in charge here?
