Twitter exploded earlier this week with joyful declarations that divisive pop group LMFAO had broken up. However, this news turned out to be false, and was based on remarks taken out of context.

In reality, the uncle-nephew duo is merely going on hiatus to work on solo projects. Sky Blu insisted to MTV News "Well, you know, first of all, we're not breaking up. I know that for sure. We're family and stuff, so it's always love." What do you think SodaHeads, are you relieved or upset to hear this? Are you a fan of LMFAO?

MTV.COM reports:
Sky Blu tells MTV News that now is the perfect time for an LMFAO hiatus. "We need to kind of realize these projects we've been working on," the Party Rocker tells MTV News of his and Redfoo's solo work.

I would love to just sit in the studio, and see how a "band" like this or the Black Eyed Peas, comes up with their songs. Like, you create a riff, and build from that, or a vocal line, or a harmony, and just build on it from there. Do any of you think that actually happens ? or do they just sample some electronic jibberish, say some cool current pop culture references on top of it, and BAM ! you got a new CD out ?!?!
