Justin Bieber was faced with some pretty serious charges in November when 20-year-old Mariah Yeater claimed she was mothering the young pop star's child. It didn't take long for the whole thing to blow over, but it was enough to inspire Bieber to write a whole song about the experience. He changed the name a little bit to "Maria" and calls the baby a "she," though the baby was a boy, but the reference is obvious.

In May, Bieber explained, "The whole baby situation, where they said I had her baby -- totally not true, by the way -- I wrote a song about that. It's kind of my 'Billie Jean.'" Now that his sophomore album "Believe" is out, you can give the track a listen and let us know what you think. Is the song an appropriate response to the situation, or is it a weird way to deal with the trouble?

Its creativity and he vented it into a song but the name is too close to home, she is going to sue him for that now and get her name out as Maria....

I used to look like him, years ago and I use his picture as a avatar. He is gone and I am long gone over the hill. He really was a great guy and his brother Jim wasn't bad either.

Why not? Singers write about what happens to them in their lives. It actually makes Bieber more interesting that he would write a song like this. I quite like the song, too :)
