Lisa Rinna Advertises 'Depend' Adult Diapers: Funny or Sad?

"Days of Our Lives" star Lisa Rinna either has a great sense of humor or a weak set of bowels. Maybe both. We don't know. We don't want to. Whatever the case, the 48-year-old actress is the new spokesperson for a new line of Depend adult Diapers called Silhouette for Women. She stars in a commercial that advertises how others can't see (or feel) the product even if you're wearing a tight dress.

She explains, "I did it because I am a champion for positive self-image for women, and what I love about the new Silhouette is it makes a woman feel confident. And it's fashionable." After husband and "Clash of the Titans" star Harry Hamlin conducts a "touch test," she continues, "I’m doing it for Dress for Success, which is an amazing charity that helps women get their confidence back so they can go back out in the workplace and get their lives back together." We guess it's all for a good case... but do you think Lisa Rinna's decision to be a spokeswoman for "Depend" adult diapers is a little... premature?

Good for her. Who said a woman with weaknesses do not deserve to look and feel beautiful?

I think her career has spiraled that low. She had to take anything. She should do something with her botched up lips.

She looks just as look wearing one. After I had prostate surgery, I had to use Male Pads for awhile made by the same company. In that situation, you do what you have to do.

She doesn't have a problem. She was wearing the underwear for the sake of charity. How come nobody feels bad for NFL player, Demarcus Ware for trying them on?

Actually, this is neither funny noir sad. It is a public service ad directed to an older (and younger, if needed) populace who need, or may need incontenance protection. Thanks, Lisa, I'll keep you in mind.

Neither funny or sad ... Though I don't have a problem with incontinence, many fairly young women do. I think it's a great product. It offers self esteem and confidence. It helps a women to feel attractive though she may have this problem that is so 'unattractive'! Certainly nothing wrong with that.!

I don't think this is funny or sad -- it is a good thing. I watched the video and Lisa clearly says she is doing this for a charity called Dress for Success. It must be very difficult for women who experience incontinence but still would like to dress nicely and not be confined to larger, loose-fitting clothing.

The acress has stated that she does not need the product, but did the ad so that others, who do need the product, would see that it's ok - at any age. I don't know if this commercial was a good career move on her part or not, but I admire her guts for doing it.
