Every kid has those moments when they’re embarrassed by their parents when they give them a kiss goodbye at the school drop-off or cheer a little too loudly at the school play. But surely, Michael and Dina Lohan have taken the whole mortifying parental behavior thing to a whole new level.
Not that their famous daughter Lindsay hasn’t had her share of less-than-stellar moments in the public eye, but she is only 26. And certainly, both of her folks should be old enough to know better. Still, Michael and Dina seem to be incapable of staying out of the spotlight. And with that comes their latest questionable decisions. They are both writing memoirs.

Still, Michael and Dina seem to be incapable of staying out of the spotlight. And with that comes their latest questionable decisions. They are both writing memoirs.

Not that a lot of their dirty laundry hasn’t already been aired. Everyone knows that Michael has had his problems with alcohol, domestic violence and the law. So it might shock some to know that his pseudo-self-help book is said to be titled, “I'm Not Daddy Dearest: If I Can Turn It All Around, You Can Too.” It’s unclear when he had time to “turn it all around” considering it was only about 15 months ago that he was arrested -- not once, but twice -- in one 24-hour period.
While Dina hasn’t caused as much trouble as Michael, she’s not exactly the shining example of motherhood. Among her many issues, she’s been known to party with her daughter, who already has enough trouble staying on the right side of her probation. And she’s currently caught up in a foreclosure on her $1.3 million Long Island mansion.

Both books should offer up juicy interpretations of the former couple’s undoubtedly tumultuous relationship. But that’s probably not a good thing. What do you think: Which memoir will be worse?
