Lindsay Lohan’s Assistant Tweets Her to Get Help: Should He Express His Concern on Twitter?

For those who think being Lindsay Lohan’s assistant would be the most thankless job on Earth, here’s proof that you're probably right. The troubled star has had a very public fight with her assistant Gavin Doyle, which ended in Doyle sending some pretty passive-aggressive tweets LiLo's way. Watch the video below to see exactly what he wrote!

To understand the drama that unfolded between LiLo and her right-hand man, you’ll have to hop in your wayback machine and cross five or six Lindsay scandals to a sunny June afternoon in Malibu. That’s when the beleaguered 26-year-old actress allegedly rear-ended a semi on the Pacific Coast Highway and told cops that Doyle was behind the wheel.

Gavin supposedly has since explained to the police that his boss was driving and Lohan’s probation is reportedly about to be revoked for lying to the authorities. And yet, when LiLo was arrested on Wednesday night on assault charges for a New York City nightclub brawl, Gavin bailed her out. Of course, even more trouble was around the corner and she was quick to throw him out of her car after they left the police station.

So Doyle did what all scorned Hollywood assistants do and logged onto Twitter. Under the handle @SaveTheSociety he tweeted, “@lindsaylohan after bailing you out last night I HOPE and PRAY you get the help you so desperately need. We are ALL rooting for you. xxx.” Then, perhaps to rub salt in the “Liz and Dick” wound he added, “Life is NOT a movie it's a reality that needs to be faced.” What do you think? Should LiLo's assistant have expressed his concern on Twitter?

No, he should speak to her privately.

That's really not the appropriate venue for a paid assistant to air his views. He should talk to her and then, if he cannot get through to her, to a doctor!

It is hard to tell which does more damage, intentional or simply ignorantly, Twitter or YouTube. Both these systems are used as substitutes for thinking, spouting drivel out loud or in your sleep instead of considering what you are saying.

Twitter is not the place for help it is more of a stage for smudging in this case.
Want to help help don't shout aloud your friend's handicap !!!

It's not the biggest surprise ever, everyone knows that already. But out of respect to her he should talk to her in person. It doesn't help the situation if you just say stuff like that through twitter, it's not very effective. Man, sometimes I just wanna hug her. How is she not going to be messed up with parents like those

PERHAPS THE ASSISTANT MEANS FOR THE "PUBLIC PLEA" TO EMBARRASS HER ENOUGH TO GET HELP? ...DON'T THINK SHE'LL DO IT. SHE NEEDS SERIOUS (LONG TERM) JAIL TIME TO THINK ABOUT HER FUTURE. SHE HAS SHOWN THE COURTS LONG ENOUGH THAT SHE THINKS SHE CAN GET AWAY WITH A-N-Y-T-H-I-N-G SHE WANTS.

She's never going to learn, is she? She makes a spiraling, out of control lifestyle and she just throws the guy out for some crap? I'd rather this be kept private, but since I know now, she really needs all the help she can get in the world. Either that or throw her in jail so maybe a large dose of reality will just come back to bite her in the ass already. This is getting to be helluva stupid.

Everybody should leave her alone, especially the media. I've see that stupid show ET and theta no doubt theEdison coverage is just hurting her career. It remains me of the south park episode of Brittney where they sacrifice h for harvest. Lol obviously nobody really cares for her, not her assistant not even her own father.

He should take matter into his own hands. Yank that brat across his lap pull down those panties and give her a relentless bare bottom spanking until she is crying like a little school girl. Then repeat again everyday until she shapes up.

Lindsay and her entire family have put themselves out there to the public. They not only make money off the public but at times prey on them. Sad to say, but I won't be surprised to read in the headlines one day that Lindsay has died from an overdose or some such nonsense!

Did you lost money with Brittney too? Or did you won since the last name wasn't specified, and Murphy die? Just curious. Maybe somebody owes you some money.

    Discipline that works.

It says in the Bible that physical discipline is what drives foolishness out of a person. It also says your children won't die if you spank them, it may very well save them from death some day.
  • Mya Faire Skidplate 2012/12/03 06:11:00

If that's your child-rearing manual, then slap away. But violence begets violence. In my opinion, children need training and guidance, not punishment.

Of course they do but without consequences how will they ever learn to live in the grown up world, where there are consequences everyday?
  • Mya Faire Skidplate 2012/12/26 19:54:59

    Through teaching and non-violent discipline.
  • Skidplate Mya Faire 2013/02/06 22:41:29

To each his own. I don't think spanking is the ONLY way to discipline a child but some actions call for it.
