Hold on a second ... Lindsay Lohan as Elizabeth Taylor? Believe it or not, it's confirmed. Lifetime television announced that the probation queen is going to play the legendary actress in "Liz & Dick," a TV movie based on the violet-eyed beauty's storied romance with actor Richard Burton.

"We are thrilled Lindsay will portray beloved Hollywood legend Elizabeth Taylor," said Rob Sharenow, executive vice president, programming, of Lifetime Networks. "She is one of the rare actresses who possesses the talent, beauty and intrigue to capture the spirit of such a provocative icon."

Lohan added, "I have always admired and had enormous respect for Elizabeth Taylor. She was not only an incredible actress but an amazing woman as well. I am very honored to have been asked to play this role."

Last year, Deadline.com reported that Martin Scorsese was eyeing Angelina Jolie to play Liz in another movie based on the Taylor-Burton love story. Seemed a fitting choice: Not only does Angie have the looks, Liz caused the Brangelina scandal of the day when her fourth husband Eddie Fisher left his wife Debbie Reynolds to be with her.

People make comments about how "unreal" Megan Fox is. HAVE YOU REALLY SEEN LINDSAY?? How many surgeries has she had? Boobs added, boobs removed, Botox, plastic surgery. And if you think those lips are real your CRAZY. No one has fish lips like that UNLESS they have had injections. Lets judge on acting. Lindsay is not a good actress. She never was. Even when she was a sweet innocent pre-drug addictive child in the parent trap. She was never good. I think the only way you would want lindsay as Liz Taylor is if they dont respect Liz or her work. If you want LIz to look like an idiot...then yes...have lindsay do it. She is perfect for the job since she gets enough expirience in her own life

Not that I really care about this celebrity business but basically Linsdey Lohans entire appeal is that she looks like a young Liz Taylor.
And if you ever read about Liz Taylor she was also notorious for some drinking and marrying and surviving scandals. It's just that in her day it was more like 'Divorces' and heavy drinking and 'Hollywood social parties'.
Lohan's versions are sex videos, clubs and drugs. But its just the 2012 version of Liz Taylor.

It's a toss up between Meghan Fox, and Olivia Wilde. I wouldn't even give it to Lindsay Lohan. As for Angelina Jolie, maybe she could play an older, mature Elizabeth Taylor. Michelle Williams, I would have to say no. She's already played Marilyn Monroe, and to typecast her as someone to play other celebrities could potentially tarnish her career. That's why if I was her agent, I would advise against it.
