It’s hard to imagine two bigger tabloid, headline-grabbing stars in recent years than Charlie Sheen and Lindsay Lohan. The two troubled actors have had their share of missteps off-camera and, as a result, seem to have formed a very strange bond. In recent months, Sheen has gone so far as to loan LiLo $100,000 so she could pay off a major tax debt. And now he’s welcoming the beleaguered starlet onto the set of his hit sitcom “Anger Management.”

There’s more good news for the actress, who had a hard time pulling off a complex character in the recent TV biopic “Liz and Dick.” In the storyline, she’ll get romantically involved with Sheen when he takes her on as a therapy patient. The self-deprecating move might just be what LiLo needs to boost her career. After all, making fun of himself by doing a series about anger management certainly helped pull Charlie out of the morass of warlock and tiger’s blood jokes.
But as far down as Charlie seemed to sink, some might believe that Lindsay’s lows are even worse. One could argue that Sheen was a grown man making consistently bad decisions. But Lindsay, whose trouble seemed to begin when she was in her early 20s, feels more like a little girl who’s battling demons beyond her control. What do you think: Who's the bigger mess, Lilo or Charlie?
