Lindsay Lohan Might Be Charged With Lying: Should She Go to Jail?

TMZ is reporting that Lindsay Lohan is in trouble yet again. It appears after an investigation into her June 2012 car accident, she wasn’t honest with the police. Several witnesses have told the cops that the actress was driving the Porsche that struck a truck on the Pacific Coast Highway in Santa Monica, California. But unfortunately for LiLo, later at the hospital, she informed the cops that she was not behind the wheel, but that her assistant was driving.

If the Santa Monica City Attorney files misdemeanor charges for lying to the police, as TMZ is suggesting might happen as early as this week, Lindsay could find herself back in court for probation violation. The “Liz and Dick” star is still on probation for her little jewelry incident in 2011. If the judge in that case feels the lying is a legitimate issue, she could send LiLo away for good.

Maybe that would be the best thing for Lindsay since nothing else seems to be keeping her away from trouble. Perhaps a jail cell would do the trick. What do you think? Should Lindsay Lohan go to jail once and for all?

Question is misleading- yes you go to jail when you violate probation... True story. If she wasn't famous, she'd already be there.

Sure, but does 99% of congress or all the other politicians have to go to? Will George Bush get slowly tortured for all the ILLEGAL death he rained down on the middle-east? You fools and your Hollywood distractions...would you swing the cage on this poor disenfranchised, spoiled Hollywood has-been?

Get a life Sodajerks, worry about stuff that matters for a change. Manage your OWN life instead of being so hopped up in deciding others' fate, you know, for a change.

Yeah, maybe after we arrest all the liar politicians?

The government lies all the time. Why then, isn't the government accountable to its own standards?

Driving a stupid Porsche? That already sounds like a criminal offense to me. What kind of moron, drives around an ugly Porsche?

So is she really to be punished now, for admitting to the truth?

She needs to go to military boot camp, preferably Paris Island and have to go though what Marine recruits go through for about a year. Take away her coke, cigarettes and Red Bull and work the crazy right out of her. Not sure if she would survive a week but if not then problem solved. Then the already grossly overtaxed CA citizens would save a little on what she has cost the state.

If you have been paying attention to the political stage lately, you would know that lying should always be met with widespread denial and followed by excuses which are to be accepted without question. Jail? Please. Jail is only for scapegoats who make YouTube videos.

She should be locked up for stupidity. But shes a star and gets more chances. If I were the judge she would still be in jail from her second infraction. The first was forgiven, go out and sin no more. She didn't listen.
