Blink and you missed it -- Lindsay Lohan went back to jail on Sunday to begin serving a 30-day sentence -- and she's already out.

The actress checked in at the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynnwood, Calif., at 8:48 p.m. on Sunday and was booked at 8:50 p.m. Lohan was released less than five hours later, at approximately 1:30 a.m. Monday morning.

Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sautner ordered Lohan back to jail last week for violating her probation by failing to complete court-ordered community service stemming from her DUI and necklace-theft cases. She was reportedly sprung early due to overcrowding, but we wonder if it had something to do with that Playboy shoot...

This isn't the first time Lohan has made a mockery of the law. In 2007, she pleaded guilty to cocaine use and DUI and was sentenced to one day in prison -- she served 84 minutes. Last year, she was sentenced to 90 days in jail for probation violation -- she served 14 days.

Actually, ALL OF THE ABOVE. If they aren't going to serve the entire sentence the judge gives, then why even bother jailing them? STUPID, just plain STUPID. Make these goobers stay in there like any other criminal should have to do!

Overcrowding wouldn't be an issue of they'd release all the non-violent drug offenders. Especially those who have been sentenced to life under three strikes laws.

I think a women or man that is in and out of jail as much as this person and having not respect for herself should be comdemed from the media for five years and if they have childern they should have them taken away. She has not respect for her own person so how could she respect anyone else. She is what use to be known a a slut and cheap whore.

Yes, all of the ones listed....you see, a crap load of money, and a good pack of lawyers, making big bucks off of them, and if they are buddies with the judge, I am surprised she was in that long.
It is a crock of doo doo....if it were you or me, we would have to do the time, 'cause we did the crime....

Whose carrot did he wax to get the unofficial minimum sentence on 2nd degree illegal possession of a firearm, for which the maximum sentence is 15 years (as a Class C felony)?

Funny how Conrad Murray was just was found guilty of "involuntary" manslaughter for the death of Michael Jackson, yet these incompetent judges who continuously allow Lindsay Lohan out (or) off early without further recourse and rehab. These professional morons of the judicial system need to be found guilty for their crime... "Voluntary" manslaughter...while being repeat offenders as well! This is almost the same thing, they feed her freedom, and they make rash and inept decisions based on her fame and fortune. They need one hard ass judge who is influenced by doing the right thing and not just a slap on the wrist to those on the A list. I have more faith in Judge Judy! Soon the next headlines will be..."Could the courts have helped prevent Lindsays death?" The answer in advance..."Yes, they "COULD" have!"

I just picked one, because they all prove that money, and not justice is the currency of the day. When you can have enough money to buy your way into reduced (or non existent) sentences, then justice has truly gained her sight...Just a thought...

What's the point behind giving these rich losers a sentence if they are'nt going to have to serve the time sentenced? Why waste tax payers money on these wastes of skin? When it comes to justice i always thought that NO ONE was above the law. Guess it depends on how rich you are or are'nt.......

How did they get rich?????? The money spent to see them in a show or on stage. Stop spending your money.

Are you kidding me?!? I would'nt waste my money on seeing trash like this perform in a movie. You're missing the point too i think. Just because you're rich does'nt mean the judicial system should be easier on you. If this was me or you do you think that we'd be given the same type of treatment? I think not.......
