The bad news is, Lindsay Lohan reportedly got into a car accident in Santa Monica on Friday. The good news is, as far as we know, the 25-year-old actress was not on the sauce. According to Yahoo!, she slammed a rental Porche into the back of an 18-wheeler, totalling the car. No one appears to be in critical condition, but Lohan did not escape unscathed.

Apparently an ambulance was called onto the scene to pick up Lohan and her personal assistant, who both sustained injuries, but Lohan refused to get into the ambulance and had someone pick her up and take her to the hospital. Details of her injuries are unclear. According to one report, Lohan claims the truck driver cut her off; according to another, she claims her boyfriend was driving. So... who knows. Do you think it was just a fender bender or is this another prime example of Lindsay Lohan being a failure at life?

Actually, "failure at life" sounds harsh, but there's no third option.

I hate to go here but being what she is has afforded her chance after chance and she keeps messing people over. And depending on who she told the contradicting stories to she could be committing another crime . But she is miss "pretty and blond" so nothing will happen . Hell she told the court to FU and nothing happen.

Failure at life is too harsh, but fender bender is not harsh enough. This kind of thing pisses me off; people die in car accidents everyday on their way to work, taking their kids to school, etc, but those people are just fatality statistics because they didn't get drunk and/or high for the whole country to see & have their faces all over the tabloids.

If anything, people aren't "mean" enough. It's the enablers who keep them on the path they're on. Some people need someone to get "mean" on them in order to hopefully straighten out their lives. LL is a perfect example of one of those people. I don't want to see her kill herself (or anyone else). She needs to spend some serious time in a cell to think about her life path. Not talking a few days or a week or two. I'm talking a few months.

I'm pretty sure I was saying this the other day but got some slack for it. Now I'm more convinced then before. She's a loser. It's not a fender bender if it's happened more then once. She should have her license revoked. It was clearly her fault if she can't even give straight answer....

Well, let's get the FACTS first before everyone starts going off on her. Calling ANYONE a failure at life is not accurate and very hateful. Cast the 1st stone, folks. Geez. :/

It's not a "fender bender" if she totalled the car, and it's ALWAYS your fault if you crash into the back of another car (or truck in this case).

It clearly wasn't her fault... the truck driver was ticketed, not her.

One is judged by their deeds. If one stacks up way more bad deeds than good then they can be adjudged a failure. See?

So what do you think? He finished his thought...why leave open ended questions after the fact?

Do you think he hasn't a right to have and express his opinion?

If you disagree with him why not say that and state the facts as you see them rather than drop and run? A mosquito behaves like that.

I can tell by the small snippet of your writing that you are intelligent and educated, so why belittle yourself that way?

Yes you did, and I asked you another question. I do not think she has lived her life well either. I think her past is sad and pathetic, the difference between you and I is that unlike you I know that mistakes are apart of life, regardless of how bad they are. No one is immune to screwing up. We all do it at varying degrees. So I will ask you again, so flipping what? What is it to you? How do you figure that people can't change?
  • Papillon Mellow 2012/06/13 15:54:49

You are correct. I murdered 3 people just for the hell of it and, after 30 years in Danemorra it was declared that was rehabilitated. I don't have a decent bone in my body but I have changed a lot...at least the parole board thought so.

You are being extreme. Comparing someone who has hurt them self more then anything to someone who sounds like a serial killer? I worked in a state hospital. I know the difference between someone who is self defeating and someone who has the idea they need to kill or want to kill because of them being a sicko. (Usually a personality disorder, which can't be fixed, so I do not know why they try.) I have been around both. So right now you sound kind of silly.

I don't know about that, but if that's what you think, then OK.

It is. As someone who had worked as a professional in the field I would say I have a good grasp on the subject, I may not know it all, but who does?
