Lindsay Lohan Gets in Another Fender Bender: Is It Time To Hire a Driver?

By now, everyone knows that Lindsay Lohan has had a lot of ups-and-downs over the last few years. Between court appearances and stints in rehab, she’s been consistent tabloid fodder. Even though she seems to have put her bad girl ways behind her, LiLo still has a serious problem that clearly needs to be addressed: she’s a really, really bad driver.

lindsay lohan

It used to seem like the “Mean Girls” star got into a car accident every year. She had annual fender benders in 2004, 2005 and 2006. And in 2007, she was arrested for a DUI, after losing control of her car and hopping a curb in Beverly Hills. That all seemed to unfold during her partying days.

Now, Lindsay is back on a path to respectability. She completed her community service at the Los Angeles morgue, landed a role as film icon Elizabeth Taylor in a TV movie and even managed to ring in her birthday in a tabloid-free manner.

But on June 8, Lohan rear-ended a dump truck with her Porsche on the Pacific Coast Highway. She claims her brakes failed but reps from Porsche tested the car and say that they didn’t. And then, on Wednesday, LiLo got into yet another scrape-up. This time she tapped the back of a silver Mustang on Sunset Boulevard — and it wasn’t even moving. The cosmetic damage was minor and it’s unlikely to cause the starlet any long-term gossip column damage. But it does beg the question: Is it time for Lindsay to hire a driver?

While she's at it, she should also hire a neuroscientist. Chick's got a messed up head.

Los Angeles has a very large bus service and needs to gain more attention.

As a frequent passenger on the service, she would do wonders to the road and also gain interest in the bus service.

fine, just get a garden hose and run it from the tailpipe- same effect/ less hassle. Of course the car would be sitting on blocks but I doubt seriously she'd notice.
or you could try for Conrad Murray

I think suspending her license should suffice but hey if murder appeals that much to you how about getting your hands dirty yourself? Now don't go crying back when they sentence you to die by lethal injection either.

you can't really be defending this girl. ever since her acting career tanked she's done nothing but make a mockery of the American legal system. Repeated drug, and alcohol offenses that any average citizen would have long since been in jail for but she's still free to get drunk or high and potentially run over someones kids.
This bitch doesn't care about anything and you think taking her license away is going to stop her from driving? Wake up

At least I would die knowing I'd done the public a service unlike the complete waste of oxygen we're talking about

What a typical strawman fallacy, Just because we Libertarians don't believe in coercion and that includes prohibition of drugs, alcohol etc doesn't mean we are drug-addicts or alcoholics I do not even drink nor smoke but I know better than to try to impose my views upon society. Oh the great libertarian conspiracy you statists fear so much that we take over the government and then... ...Leave you the hell alone to do as you choose.. :)
  • ticker RoyJLores 2012/07/28 06:30:32
    ticker
so you and the rest of the Libertarians would leave drunks, druggies, arsonists, murderers, rapists, thieves, and all other manner of criminal out on street "...to do as you choose."?
I guess that's one way to solve prison overcrowding
