Political candidates love getting celebrity endorsements. Nine times out of ten, it beefs up their public profile and gives them a certain cool factor that they might not otherwise enjoy. Who wouldn’t want to be associated with George Clooney or Beyonce like President Obama is? And even with his embarrassing empty chair speech at the Republican National Convention, Clint Eastwood’s stamp of approval didn’t do Mitt Romney any damage. Well, this week, Lindsay Lohan has jumped on the Romney-Ryan bandwagon.

At the Mr. Pink Ginseng Drink Launch Party in Los Angeles Thursday night, Lohan told reporters that she intends to cast her ballot for the Republican candidate on November 6. The beleaguered starlet acknowledged that, due to the unemployment situation, Romney has her vote.
She went on to add that her reasons were complicated, saying, “It's a long story, but you're going to have to wait for that.” Her decision could be tied to those reports that she had to loan her troubled mom, Dina, $40,000 so she didn’t lose her Long Island home to foreclosure.

No word from the Romney camp about how they feel regarding LiLo’s endorsement. After all, she’s not really someone you’d call on to shoot an endorsement video for your team. What do you think? Will Lindsay Lohan's endorsement help or hurt Romney's campaign?

I always avoid doing what that addle-pated warthog does.
She runs the red light, I don't
She assaults a police officer, I don't
She drinks and drives, I don't
and now this, I'm confused
Well, so much the better! Now go pound sand dullard
"HOLLYWOOD DRUNK" (being polite),
SERIOUSLY!
