Reports are in that Lindsay Lohan rang in her 26th birthday in an uncharacteristically mature fashion. Witnesses at the Bootsy Bellows nightclub in Hollywood say that the pink minidress-clad starlet danced the night away with friends. But they also say that LiLo didn’t seem to touch a drop of alcohol.

Having a stress-free birthday party is not something Lohan seems accustomed to. Just a few days before her 24th, she was slapped with a probation violation sentence that mandated 90 days in jail followed by 90 days in rehab. Of course she side-stepped the prison time but did do a stint in treatment. Flash forward a year to her 25th celebration: LiLo had just completed a 35-day house arrest for allegedly stealing a necklace and simply had a low-key dinner with family and friends.

But 365 days later and Lohan has reason to celebrate in style. She’s been hyper-focused on what she hopes will be her big career comeback: playing Elizabeth Taylor in the TV movie “Liz and Dick.” Sure, she was involved in yet another car crash recently but there are no signs that there was any bad behavior (aka drinking or drugs) on Lohan’s part. And the recent emergency call that got the tabloids riled up just ended up being a dehydrated and exhausted actress who had been working, not partying hard.

With community service behind her and her eyes on the prize of Hollywood success, it seems like Lindsay Lohan may have turned a corner. So with one day down in year 26, we wonder: Is the old party girl gone?

I don't want to be a downer... one can only hope fore the best... but over looking her sobriety I'm flabbergasted that she's 26! DANG she looks to be at least late 30s! YIKE... I guess that's what drugs and alcohol does to you....

It may not be a return to booze, but she certainly knows how to get her hands on drugs. She's one of the worst "role-models" to ever influence this young generation.

Once an alcoholic, always an alcoholic. Does she attend AA or NA ? She will always have these demons. The question is how serious she is to handle her addiction so she can begin living her life drug free.

Why Does the media always jump to conclusions? You drink once, you're an alcoholic. You Get in a car crash, It was definitely not an accident. If you act a bit strange on TV, You're automatically On drugs...
I mean, Good for her. It's a start! But Just because She doesn't drink once doesn't mean she's done drinking for good..

its nice for some change sometimes. So i guess its really cool if this is the start of her making a change for what seems better. Lets just see how long what choices she makes continue to improve or just go back into a bad habit
