Lindsay Lohan Arrested Again: Will She Ever Learn?

Some things never change -- Lindsay Lohan was arrested early Wednesday in New York after hitting a pedestrian with a Porsche, police told The New York Daily News. The actress, 26, was maneuvering around a crowd of people in New York City's trendy Meatpacking District, according to the report.

"She's driving in this freight area, going very slow," a police source told the paper. "She's hitting her horn because there's a lot of people in the area. The crowd moves but she kind of brushes against this one guy. He runs up to her, tells her she hit him. They get out of the car, there's some interaction with her, her entourage and the guy."

Lohan proceeded to go clubbing, and the man called the police, according to the News. She was later arrested and booked for leaving the scene of an accident with an injury, and issued a desk appearance ticket. The man was taken to a local hospital for a knee injury.

According to TMZ, Lohan says she didn't know she hit anyone, and she thinks she's the victim of a set-up. While Lilo is certainly innocent until proven guilty, it's hard to believe she's in trouble AGAIN. Will she ever learn?

    I will bet this is a creep of opportunity. He moved into the car so it brushed against him, then ran after her and called the cops. Leave the woman alone, most of her problems stem from other peoples influence.

    I'm hoping when she's 80 she won't be like this. I think it may take many, many, many, many years but hopefully eventually she'll grow out of it. Maybe once her mom stops influencing her. She needs some better role models.

    This one seems like she is being taken advantage of... not to say that she perhaps shouldn't learn to stay away from the clubs and out from behind the wheel of any vehicle. Completely stone cold clean and sober, maybe she just sucks at driving. I only give her the benefit of the doubt on this one because I think someone recognized her and are going to try and squeeze what he can out of the situation.. or just be a dick for the sake of being a dick. Sadly, it seems there are a lot of those types of people out there...

    no she wont learn..but i really think it was a set up..it clearly says she was driving slow..how can she give the guy a knee injury if she was driving very slow..and if he did have a knee injury how the hell was he able to run??

    So why does she keep getting hired on films? It's as if there are no other persons capable of acting. The same faces, same issues and yet Lindsay like a lot of others just keep getting work that pays her way too much and this is the result.

    I hope that I'm wrong, but the best predictor of future behaviour is past behaviour, and unfortunately, Lindsay simply hasn't left any indicators that she'll ever pull out of her self destructive path. However, Britney Spears appears to have done just that, despite having had similar issues in the past, so I guess only time will tell for sure!

    first of all with a family like hers how is she suppose to have ever learned right from wrong. It is a shame because with the proper up bringing she could have had it all. Imagine a mother and father like that? Who would have not known what to do starting from a very young age. I feel sorry for her and so wish she would have found someone who really cared and would help her because doing it alone is next to impossible.

    I don't think this one is really her fault. It appears it was a really busy area and sometimes stuff like that happens. If the guy ran up to her car, his knee couldntve been that bad!

    No not as she is. She is a drunk and probably a drugger too. By the time she is forty she will look like an old hag. She apparently has enough money somehow that she doesn't have to work but as they say in AA if you don't quit when you are alcoholic you wind up in the insane asylum, prison or graveyard. She will eventually find that out. She blames her problem (as all alcoholics do before they finally quit) on everything but what the REAL problem is...drinking booze.

    Why should she? She's everything the public wants in a celebrity: A total train wreck. You might casually see a blurb about Christian Bale's visit to a terminally ill child, but that'll never make the front page of US WEEKLY. The public and the media like to see celebrities spiraling out of control because it's better entertainment. Li-Lo is not an actress, or even a human being any more. She's a sacrificial lamb.
