Talent has nothing to do with it. Box office clout does. Every movie he's made since 2002 has brought in over $100m in domestic grosses.

I think he is very talented. A very accomplished actor. But as others have pointed out, money means everything - it's the box office draw that gets the actor his pay.

Maybe not that talented but he has surprised me. E.g. he was quite good in shutter island and blood diamond. He was good in inception but i just didn't like the film.

I really can't say if he really deserves to be the highest paid actor in Hollywood (I thought that his heyday was over a few years ago), but he does have talent. Anyone doubting that needs to watch What's Eating Gilbert Grape. Leo was brilliant. And now he's just damn hot.

A terrific actor, has taken me places in movies I thought I would never go. Entertaining to watch, I doubt there is a role out there he wouldn't be able to master.

That said, his politics suck. Because I love him as an actor doesn't mean I care what he thinks in real life outside of the movies.

Act Leonardo, it's what you do best. But leave your personal ideals to yourself.

Talent doesn't equals to payment...its a yearly based of generated income, this year Leonardo has lot of commercial and movie offers...next year there might be someoneless, who will be declared as the Highest paid actor...last year its Johnny Deep..

He is talented, and I guess what I like the most about him is that he doesn't make a movie for the sake of making a movie. I just don't agree with the money actors are paid, especially when there are people who die from hunger. Actors are just that actors, they play pretend and get paid millions of dollars for doing it. Then there are teachers, fire fighters, police officers, etc who don't make the money they should.

I seldom go to the movies, it's not worth the $9.00 or $10 bucks to get in. As for movies on tv, not so much either. So I am not contributing to Leo's salary. And if I want to bemoan I will. They make to much money period. Seriously they are actors, not doctors, not scientists, and not college professors.
