Didn't care that much about either, even though I had ties to the Bush family when George and I were in our teens. At least 43 put more energies into defending this country, instead of tearing it down with class warfare and stealing the wealth of hard working people to give to those who game the system. That goes for the rich like Buffett who doesn't mind raising his taxes on the hundreds of thousands of dollars in wages as long as his millions in assets are not touched.

Katrina devastated New Orleans, but aid and money flowed into the area within days of the disaster. Sandy hit 7 weeks ago. The forever hapless FEMA barely has a foothold in NJ and little money has flowed into the area. Look at the calendar! It is winter with no heat or electricity for these snowbelt areas. Where is the humanity from thes Nobel Prize recipient? BP oil rushed out of the gulf for weeks and this inept president obstructed aid and caused the oil rigs to leave the gulf and increased the unemployment inthat area.

Who refuses to address the issues with unfriendly factions of Islam who threaten Israel and us too! Benghazi was no surprize as radical Islam boldly celebrates victories with violence and Obama was busy churning his campaign fabrications instead of watching out for dangers to the country. If the "Situation Room" is in the White House why did it take two weeks for Obama to believe the live feed that it was a planned terror attack from the beginning. He is no more than a Blaimer in Chief and Golfer in Chief. Obama gives the appearance of being a cool character, but he will never be the fourth best president except in the eyes of those with a deep socialist agenda or the pure racists!

no matter who you are or how you feel about Obama, you CANNOT seriously be defending G.W. Bush.
He gave the perception that he was defending this country. he ordered, at the behest of his corrupt cabinet, the invasion of Iraq for false and erroneous reasons. WE LOST THOUSANDS of lives over there, while Rove and Cheney got rich(er) off of those losses. That makes Bush a murderer in my eyes, plain and simple. we are not better off in any way as a result of that war. WE ARE NOT SAFER.
The fact remains that no matter how much you blame Obama for the condition of this country, he would probably never have been elected in The first place we're it not for Bush's lies and bumbling.
Spending may be out of control under Obama, but some of his spending has worked and the country financially is heading in the right direction.
you may not agree with him socially, but you tell me how you deny millions of people assistance when we are at the brink of depression. A deep, deep recession caused, not by Obama, but in part by Bush's selling out of our country and it's military so his friends could line their pockets.
there are things I disagree with Obama on. But understand that he is still in office because the out if touch GOP fumbled the ball many times during the election season. We are a country still living in fear from 9/11. That is the reason for the vast political polarization in the country.
the result is a lot of fear mongering and lies misleading our country from both camps.
you can't begin to have serious conversations about the health of our country when you are busy discussing how much golf the President has played or how much vacation time he's taken.
by the way, the truth is that the president has NOT played more golf than past presidents. he's played more than W because W decided to quit playing halfway through his presidency. but I believe that H.W. beat him in total rounds. as did previous presidents.
As for vacation time, actually Obama's vacation time has been considerably less than most of the previous modern presidents and certainly a lot less than W.

A Very large part of this country's debt is because of Iraq and afganistan.
You support those wars under the guise that it's making us safer. thus giving Bush his due. But you can't support the notion that those wars are still having a negative economic effect.

I'm not saying just hand out money hand over fist, but certainly I haven't seen many republicans having conversations with captains of industry. if they had been, they would understand that somewhere around 2005, the trend of hiring two or three part timers instead of a full timer began.
this is good for business. you don't have to pay vacation time. you don't have to offer part timers medical or retirement plans.
but somehow Obama gets the blame for this.
regardless who the president is, these companies are not just gonna start hiring full timers cause it's good for the country.
I know that you don't agree with me on this. and that's fine. but you can't just dismiss these arguments because you don't want to believe them. there is truth in my opinion.

BTW, on the Katrina vs. Sandy thing. I have friends that relocated to my area after Katrina who will tell you otherwise. and if the power is still not on in New Jersey, you blame the president? I can guarantee you that the money is availible. it must be. Christie almost committed political suicide. don't you think that he could regain some of his GOP swagger by exposing deficits in fema money availibility?

Bush vs Obama I'll take "W" anytime, but I don't like him. His aunt was my teacher and we hear about family almost as often as our history lessons.

If you had read my letter to GHWB and GWB White Houses you would know I didn't like Haliburton getting $1billion without a bid. I didn't like Rumsfeld needlessly sending troops into combat without the body and vehicle armor they needed. $8 million in cash on pallets disappears in Iraq?

I had best wishes for Obama until his stimulus cut nearly 1000 jobs at my company that included me. Bush stayed out of the oil crisis and let it work is course. We hit over $4 a gallon, but went under $2 a time or two. Obama's EPA is one factor holding gas and heating oil at over twice that of Bush's day. He is going to close down coal and stop 44% of the nations electricity from heating our homes and charging those electric cars he raves about. Are you going to wait for a sunny day to charge up your car for the 40 some miles you'll get?

With Obama the math doesn't work! All this fighting over the fiscal cliff and it will fund the nation for 8 days? He's just trying to beat the repubicans and nothing more. This doesn't help the nation one bit! It would take those same millionaires 45 years to fund the rest of that same year. Do you want to go from age 20 to 65 years old to pay for the great time you had when you were 20?

Spend some time in deep thought of what Obama has been trying to do! He had his personal Congress for two years and got only got the foot of social justice under everyone's feet and tripped up a great country, unless you and I expose his deceptions.
