Seeing they both had this come out at the same time, who did it better?

Better voice, more soul and feeling... And you can tell what she's saying too...
Trish cites Linda Ronstadt as her biggest influence, and Ronstadt’s sound and vocal styling are clearly apparent in Trisha Yearwood’s music. Other influences include Emmylou Harris, Patsy Cline, and Elvis Presley.

At the start of Leanne Rimes' singing career, the media often remarked that her rich vocals sounded like a "young Patsy Cline", and she was often nicknamed "The Next Patsy Cline" with the popularity of her hit single "Blue", a song originally intended for Cline. Rimes later covered several of Cline's hits on her self-titled album "Leann Rimes".

How could anyone possibly choose between these two brilliant musicians. Their influences are similar and this can be clearly heard and felt in their performances. The strength of both their vocals would fill an packed auditorium without the use of mics.
My verdict is no contest, they both are Great Musical Talents!!!!
