After listening to, well, the first 3 words on Trisha's... Definitely Trisha... By far
Better voice, more soul and feeling... And you can tell what she's saying too...

i like her voive better in this song but i do like leann voice in other songs

I'm not a country music fan, per se, but I do like LeAnn.

At this time I would have to say LeAnn; I know very little about her. As for Trisha Yearwood, she is a homewrecker and that doesn't sit well with me.

I'm sorry LeAnn was 13 or 14 at the time and didn't have the maturity of voice or life experience to sing that song. Now maybe, but not then.

Both are very good, but I like Leann better, just my preference in music..........

There is category missing from this poll question. Because I believe they are both great entertainers in their own individual right. Both have great singing voice that are distinct to them and when a song is played on the radio you know who it is singing instantaneously.

How could anyone possibly choose between these two brilliant musicians. Their influences are similar and this can be clearly heard and felt in their performances. The strength of both their vocals would fill an packed auditorium without the use of mics.

My verdict is no contest, they both are Great Musical Talents!!!!

Trisha Yearwood has a better voice by far. LeeAnn Rimes was good when she was a kid, But not so much any more,,,,,

Trisha has a melodic range that LeAnn could only dream of.

This songs seems to fit a more mature sounding and older female. I think Trisha captures the meaning better.

Class? Like breaking up marriages? She's a great singer but I don't know that I'd go that far.

I'm speaking of her vocals. She has a knack for understatement, whereas Leann usually leans towards melisma and overemoting. I couldn't care less what artists do in their private lives.

I saw Trisha in concert years ago. She's great. LeAnn's version is good, too, though.
