Like them both but ZEPPELIN WERE THE KINGS!

I just like them better.

Not that I don't like Zep, but I think the Stones have alot more good tunes!

Thanks for having the "Both" choice. There is no way I could pick between these two. The Stones are setting a date possibly to tour again in 2013. I don't think Zeppelin ever will tour again. Too many losses and Robert Plant's voice may not be able to hit the notes he used to. Sad ...

Everytime I hear someone say Clapton is the best guitar player around, I think, well, what about Jimmy Page? I think he could run circles around Clapton, but then they don't play the same type music.

I have all of Led Zeppelin's albums, and I have all of the Rolling Stones' albums.
Led Zeppelin put out seven studio albums in ten years (1969-1979), and there is not one bad song on any of them. Led Zeppelin had tight control over the music, the artwork, and the business end, and it shows in their work. Plant, Page, Jones, and Bonham are perhaps the greatest rock band ever, when you consider they made albums, and toured till the end (The Beatles last pay concert was years before they called it a day). Plant, Page, Jones, and Bonham are all highly respected as musicians, and songsmiths. I can not think of another band that can match them.

Not true. Zeppelin really blows the Stones out of the water, & performance wise have yet to meet their match.

What was Jimmy Page doing while the Stones and Beatles were making history? Oh yeah.. playing with the Yardbirds. Jagger and Richards opened the door for Zeppelin to exist.
